Okay, so, we decided not to answer the phone if it's an 800 number or someone we don't know. A few weeks ago, or a week ago.. I forget.. The phone rings. It was an 800 number so I didn't answer it. I go back into my porch and sit down. The phone rings right as I sit down. I look at the caller ID and I don't know who it is. So I didn't answer it. I go back into the porch. The phone rings again before I can sit down. I look at the caller ID, and it's my mom. I answer it and talk to her, then hang up. I walk back into the porch. The phone rings AGAIN. I flip out and start yelling "OH MY GAWD WILL THE PHONE EVER FREAKING STOP RINGING!?!?!?" and some other colorful words.. heh. It was the same 800 number that had already called. So, within like, what.. 5-ish minutes the phone had rung abot 4 to 5 times. It made me SUPER mad. And the dang 800 number people call almost twice every day. -_-" We never even answer it. UGH!

OMG Kro, I know what you mean! I never answer the phone and some days its just nonstop and pisses me off. I just sit down and it rings. Bleh! *highfives*

we have had this problem. But we got rid of are house phone. Then step dad wanted it back. So we got a whole new number. And they stopped calling. We are just all so happy!!

You know how I got them to stop? I picked up the phone and wait until they'd say something and just start talking. My favorite thing Ive told them. "Dudeee. Do you know how freakishly awesome these Skittles are? They're like...colorful...did anybody else see the flying purple cat?" The lady on the other end was like "Uhh what?" xD

I just got off the phone with one... ello i talk to denees or charis? I'm like "i've told you 100 times i dont know these people" him: "oh" me: "Yeah oh, now STOP CALLING!" him: "okie you have nice day ma'am" me: "I'll have a lovely day if you stop freaking calling" >.< stupids

Pick up and start singing a song like Twinkle Twinkle or Row Row Row Your Boat till they hang up, and if the interrupt you, scream 'CAN'T YOU SEE I'M TRYING TO SING?' and keep doing it until they hang up, and if they call back be like 'well that was rude..' and start all over again.

I find this quite amusing, especially because my mom started doing it too. But like tiffer, we got a new number when we moved, so we don't get these calls anymore.

Hahah!!! If it's one of those bots that play out a recorded message press one number a bunch of times, which confuses the computer and throws out your number. It worked with us.

lol I had a friend who prank called me 25 times (not even joking, I counted) within three days. 23 of them were on the second day. They stopped though.

Block their number? Or, you can do what I do, and chew them out after they've called the third time. People usually like it when my mom picks up, she's a calmer person in this house. They don't like it when my dad or I pick up.
