It touches my heart.
Heres the backround story: <br>Yesterday at school one of my semi-friends approached me at lunch. Anyone who knows me knows my school is crazy about doing service. We even get graded on it sometimes. Anyway, she tells me that her friend is in this club that was supposed to go do some service at a home that helps young mothers, and NO ONE signed up. I mean, I know people can be busy and not able to go but I know all those girls weren't busy on Saturday. (When they are supposed to go) So I and Katie (one of my besties) signed up. I mean seriously, were going to help clean for 3 hours. Its on Saturday morning. Its not like it would ruin your day or anything. (Sorry for the mini-rant. It just blows my mind that NO ONE in the ENTIRE school signed up. Not to mention none of my other friends would go because they're all selfish and want to sleep in or some other lame excuse.) <br><br>But anyway to the part that touches my heart!<br>Katie and I went to tell the teacher in charge today that we would go. Her response "Do you need service hours?" (Which we have to have for certian things at our school) "No, ma'am. We heard that no one signed up so we decided to help." "Thank you girls SO much! Its girls like you that give people such a great image of our school."<br><br>And shes gonna make us snacks! You guys cant even imagine how yummy the food she makes is. It makes me so happy to know Im appreciated :]
