Ever since I was little I haven't been the "biggest fan" of America even though this is where I was born and raised.. I'm not exactly sure why but it's just the way I am lol. I'm not very patriotic either.. Oh well. It's just that I don't get this country.. I sometimes think we need to get out of other's business but I'm going to stay out of that topic, for it can cause some major disagreements lol. But yea overall I've never been an American at heart.

We do have alot of issues that can be sorted out over time... but hey, better than living in a country where you constantly have to watch your back.

I agree the contry is okay but it is alot if the people I don't like. I had to give a speach once on the people here and I went so off topic that I should have failed but I put so much feling into it that the teacher gave me a B. "Most amercans have porblems with imergants takeing there jobs and recking our country but the wont get of tere butts to do the jobs that te imergants are takeing and the wont stop whining to get there heads out of their butt and help the country." (exert) Now I was born and raised in the U.S. but when I watched the news for the first time when I was little I started have disslikenss for the people here. Though the people are getting better and there is now more people out there then not that have started relizing they need to get off their butt and work, there is still a few that I talk about when I say the thing I do....

There's lazy and bad people in all countries. Quite frankly, I wish we had more of our own culture. You dont hear of people vacationing here for that. We just don't have our own because of this country (america) being full of immigrants. Its just how it is. If someone dislikes their country so much, they can always move and stop griping about it (of course once they have the means). All countries have their flaws. Tah-dah. And America has some lovely points and people. The bad things are sooo aparent because people are more interested in flaws than in more positive stuff. Who wants to watch the news about some comunity coming together for a drive of some sort (like food drive). No, they save the 'good' things like robberies, corruption, and all that for the end. Not many of Americas good side is shown. I end my post now. xD

That's not exactly my point.. Yes all countries have their robbers and gangs and such.. But America is currently one of the fattest countries of them all.. It's not exactly the country's fault as much as the peoples' for not watching what they eat. Also the people who don't care about the other people and put stuff that's not good for us into food for the money (McDonalds).. I think we may be getting better.. Hopefully.. As I said earlier in the post though, now that I think about it it's just certain types of people that happen to live in America.. Not exactly the country its self. I just think some people lack common knowledge that commercials and things they say are "good" on TV aren't always good... That's just another reason I don't like certain types of people.. That's not all America though, I was watching German commercials today in my German class and they're just as bad there. I hate the McDonald's ones though. They suck all around. Lol a little off topic but just the truth in my mind.

Quite frankly I'm lost. If its certain types of people, why is this topic on 'America'? Yes we are one of the fattest (least its not -the- fattest). And as you said, its not just the people eating the food. The way we have things now makes it incredibly difficult to be able to maintain a healthy weight with ridiculous portions and plenty of food that is unhealthy. It still ends up with the individual mostly. They are responsible for themselves and there are things they can do (like doggy bags instead of eating the whole meal at a restaurant) even though it seems everything is going against them. And my post before was mainly in response to Nala's, though I had difficulty reading what she typed. Sooo.. I'll just say I'm confused on what your main points are on why you dislike it. Do you mean the American government/politics? (in which case isn't allowed on here I believe). I think all countries are beautiful and you can't exactly judge things on certain individuals (even if they are the ones in power). I dont know how to explain this.. xD. Government, media, culture, etc. all make up countries so unless you mean more than just 'types of people' you can't really blame the whole country. I'm not saying that was what you were doing, I'm just confuzzled. ^-^;
