Is it bad?

Is it bad to hang out with someone, even though they always get you in trouble? I have a friend I love to death, but we always get into trouble alone. NOt like SERIOUS trouble, just like, dumb stuff. Last time I hung out with her, I ended up outside in my bathing suit and jeans. (full piece, not bikini!). Another time, we got yelled at for reading to kids in a library by some mother. It's never big trouble, but SOMETHING always happens.<br><br>Without her, I can't do what I want to. My other friends don't go shopping or just hang out for nothing. At dances, they don't dance they're wall flowers. I cn dance with them, or I can dance around people I don't hang out with, plus my trouble friend... Her friends aren't all my fave people, so it's weird dancing with them. They just DON'T shop either... AHHH

    First, why did you get yelled at for reading to kids? Were you reading something that wasn't age appropriate? That seems stupid. I thought it was supposed to be a good thing to help out kids.<br><br> Second, It's up to you. Some people don't mind it. I personally don't hang out with people that get themselves in trouble, small or big(well, especially not the ones that get in big trouble). If your worried about getting in trouble, just be more conscious of your actions. Stop and ask your self "Is there a chance that this could get me in trouble?" and then go from there in evaluating if the risk is high or low.

    We were reading picture books for little kids. They where like 4-6 year olds... Stuff like Goldilocks. I still don't get why we got in trouble for that either, really...

    So I was with her again today. I didn't really get into trouble, but HER mom yelled at ME for wearing makeup when we ran into her. She's very... protective, like protective x1 zillion x2. Yup, I said zillion! Dunno why. I'm allowed and I'm not that young. It's not like I'm 10 or 12 or something.

    ...that doesn't seem nice. I really hate it when other people's parents try to parent other kids. It just seem wrong to me. <br><br> There's nothing you can do about that. If your mother allows you, then that's all that matters.

    Yup, I know.<br><br>Her mom seems to think of me as her third daughter...<br><br>Oh well, if that's the worst I get, maybe I'll just stick to lip gloss if I'll be seeing her parents. Don't really want to give them a bad impression...<br><br>I guess I'll see what she's up to today. It's spring break and all my friends are away. GRRR.
