IBM and Microsoft.
For one, Microsoft has a ton of holes in it.<br><br>And, I cannot stand IBM. Granted, my laptop [which is now dead ):] is an IBM, so is my desktop.<br><br>Let me put this out:<br>I downloaded ZERO things onto my laptop, [other than mIRC and Firefox. And I uninstalled mIRC], nor did I open any emails from people I didn't know, from my spam box, etc.<br><br>It got worm.win32.netway virus.<br>For those who have IBMs, they know that IBM has their own messaging centre, which opens up emails.<br><br>I guess it's partially my fault. Though I have no clue how...I was safe with that computer...<br>But. <br>My dad never keeps up with virus check.<br>I figured out how to wipe my hard drive out, and restore my computer to factory settings.<br><br>ONLY ISSUE IS:<br>My laptop came from my dad's work, they were going to toss it but he rebuilt it. This is where my complaints on Microsoft come in:<br><br>I need to have an access key to put it in.<br>Daddy dearest used a burned copy of Windows XP.<br>He has 3 page fulls of disks in a CD holder.<br>None of them were the correct ones.<br>And to verify your account, you cannot use alphanumeric codes.<br><br>I'm trying to do this without getting my ass beat.<br><br>Needless to say, I'm pissed.<br>And I'm trying to figure out how to tell dad, 'Oh hey! Dad! A virus got into the computer and I wiped the hard drive clean, can you please fix it and put internet back on it? THANKYOULOVEYOUBAI!'<br>...No. <br><br>Anyhow.<br>/randomvent.<br><br>I'm on my moms laptop, by the way.
