Bully Breeds {Poem}

I am bulky<br>rough<br>large in form<br><br>imperfect<br>insecure<br>beaten down<br><br>I am a fighter<br>a prisoner<br>a hopeless cause<br><br>but can't I be<br><br>a lover<br>a friend<br>a soft soul?<br><br>a companion<br>a guardian<br>your child's protection?<br><br>a piece of justice<br>a heart of gold<br>a mind of steel?<br><br>can't I be like the rest -<br><br>a canine to love,<br>a friend to hug,<br>a demonstration of good deeds?<br><br>can't I be a miracle<br>a joy,<br>a puppy to please?<br><br>am I not made of four legs,<br>a tail,<br>and soft fur?<br><br>am I not made of dedication,<br>trust<br>and courage for you?<br><br>I am a canine -<br><br>bulky,<br>soft,<br>loving<br>and true. <br><br><br><br>
<br><br>This isn't entirely random xD I was invited to join a group against breed Breed Specific Legislation, and I finally figured out some way to contribute to the group :3 <br><br>I don't want this post to discuss this topic too much, as I know people are on both sides of it - I just simply wanted to post this piece I did for it :P
All good things must come to an end. All endings will begin new good things.

    Beautiful. I'm not a big fan of terriers, but I adore blue ABPTs. I think this could actually work for any type of dog that is targeted. It personally reminds me of the various dobermans I grew up with(excluding the bulky part), and how the breed is also under criticism(no where near as much as the bully breed though). <br><br>I personally have always loved and agreed with the saying "Punish the deed, not the breed."

    <br><br>Yeah, dobermans do have a bad reputation where I live as well =/ Its very odd, considering 3/3 of the ones I've seen & worked with in Flyball and agility, were nice dogs.<br><br><br>And yes, that saying is amazing and will live on with me forever <3 I stand by it loyally.<br><br>I have a friend who thinks pit bulls are bad, and that's about the only topic Ive ever gotten in an argument with her about xD
