Meet my new pomeranian~
I've actually had Darwin for about 3 weeks now, but I avoided posting photos until he could have a bath. When we adopted him he had kennel cough, and had to be neutered. After getting him and taking him to our vet, she recommended an extra week of meds and rest, so we ended up waiting 2 weeks to wash him. I gave him his first bath a week ago, and I've been snapping pictures of him since.<br><br> He is a chocolate merle with one blue eye, and one eye that is roughly half blue/half brown. He weighs exactly 6 pounds, and barely barks. When he does bark it's actually adorable and kind of like a squeak toy. Though we(my family) adopted him from the humane society we are about 99% sure we know which local breeder he, and the other two exotics brought in with him, came from. <br><br>Here he is, pre-bath, laying on my bed with one of his toys. He LOVES squeak toys. Unfortunately camera flash tends to cause him to have red eyes in pictures.<br> <img src="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Darwin5.png"; alt="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Darwin5.png"; class="bb-image" /><br>Here he is post bath looking cleaner. Unfortunately his white coat is a little stained, and thin since he had some bad matts that took a lot of work to unravel and pull apart.<br> <img src="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Darwin3.png"; alt="http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r26/PrinceSushi/Pets/Darwin3.png"; class="bb-image" /><br>Here he is after jumping into the pool for the <span style="text-decoration:underline">2nd</span> time this week.
