My Angel of Delight

I was looking at some dog quotes and the pictures of my doggy, and it made me realize how much i miss him. Some of the quotes made me very teary. It's been 2 months, and I can't wait to see him when i'm on spring break. (3 weeks away)<br><br>So I decided write a short poem: I believe this is my first poem of the year. Well, it's been almost a year since I last wrote a poem, so I kind of felt rusty. Well here it goes:<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="text-decoration:underline">My Angel of Delight</span></span> By: Lycanthrin<br><br>An angel by day, an angel by night. <br>You bring a smile to my face whenever you are in my sight. <br>You guard me with all your life, <br>No wonder I call you my little angel of delight. <br>Wagging your little tail is a sign that, for sure I haven't failed; <br>Because no matter what you do, you will always prevail.

    Nice =D<br><br><br>and, I was thinking of moving away for college =/ I was afraid of leaving my dogs behind though, so I found a college closer to home. I used to get upset just thinking about leaving them behind for weeks at a time D; So, although I have never dealt with this kind of distance, I do know what it feels like <3<br><br><br><br><br>Only thing I would suggest poem wise (hopefully you're open to critiques?) is to choose a different word other than Little, for one of the two lines that you use it in back to back. It's repetitive, but not in a rhythmical sort of flow, so it might be nice to switch one of them up :D <br><br>I do appreciate your use of rhymes though xD So difficult at times.
    All good things must come to an end. All endings will begin new good things.

    <br><br><br>Thankies Nickel :D<br><br>Yeah, that's pretty much the only reason I hate going to college because I leave behind my love one. I live like 200 miles away from him. I would go to a school closer to home but I don't really like the area where I live. <br><br>Oh yeah I'm totally open to critiques. I took a poetry class a year ago and we HAD to critique the other students poems and sometimes the prof. would make us be a little harsh. (always scary for me to do because I don't want to hurt other peoples feelings)<br><br>Oh I see now! Hahaha I didn't even notice I used little twice.<br><br>Haha yeah, rhyming can be difficult at times. Thank you Nickel for critiquing I really appreciate it :D

    No problem =D<br><br>And, thats too bad D;<br><br>I dont care for the college Im going to end up going to... but Id rather deal with a college not exactly the way I'd like it, then leave my dogs behind. I'd miss them too much xD
