Breeding Market...(Broods)

edited February 2010 in Vent
It has been bothering me that we can't put our broods on market to breed, we have to send leases. I was thinking that we could have a choice to put them up. I was wondering because what if you have to breed urgently and then that user is not on or cannot send the dog at the time.

I can see why we don't though. I'm not saying all novices, but they do tend to breed poor statted dogs, overbreed, and inbreed. And it's not just novices there are even sponsors.

Thanks for reading :D

WooHoo Small Text :]] :]]

 • The logistics of brood leasing and studding are so opposite. A studding is just per use. No turning involved, no confusion about pups being born where and how to receive them.

Broods on the other hand.. What if she's not in heat, how do you turn her? How many turns per "lease" So you want to use her and the time runs out before the pups can be born? Do you have to pay a second time to get the pups? What if the owner only wants one litter per fee, how do they ensure that? (that's if the brood were to come to you account upon accepting a brood lease)

Sea Oats got the rest if the brood was to stay on the owner's kennel

 • I agree with Sea Oats and Alabama, this would be way to complicated. It would be nice in some ways, but very confusing and tricky....I don't think this is needed. Even if it was done, aside from all the complications, wouldn't it make breeding way too easy? And a little mistake could easily make for an unhappy owner or leaser. Just my opinion.

And shouldn't this be in comments and suggestions?
