Senior Exit

-stabs whoever thought up the senior exit- In our county, we have to do a 'graduation project' and present it to a panel of judges, who score us and we have to score above a certain number to graduate. This project includes a sophomore and senior exit. The sophomore exit was 40 notecards, 6 source cards and an 8 page paper. The senior exit consists of 75 notecards, 6 source cards, a product, a 10-12 page paper and an interview. I'm slowly but surely making progress on the million notecards I have to make. After working my ass off on last year's sophomore exit, I know now what it's like to dedicate my life to a paper, and it makes me want to cry just thinking about it. -sobs-

I read that, Im just saying Im glad my "country doesnt do that", that sucks I mean if your the only place that does that then why do it? Whats the reason for more work O.o

Oh, sorry. xD And I don't know, our school system is soo messed up. It's pointless work and time for volunteers to judge. |: I understand having maybe something bigger to graduate, but a project that spans 3 school years is ridiculous.

Hehe, when I first read the title I thought you meant like an exit that elderly people take out of a building.... :oops: Anyways, that's terrible! I hate long reports as it is, but all that?

Surprisingly, the report is NOTHING. If you do the notecards the right way, your paper practically writes itself. But the notecards are time consuming, I've done 24 so far, and I've been working on them for 2 and a half hours. >.<

Poor Vi. We have to do a rediculious service project to graduate. It has to help "The community, the state, the country and the world." Or something like that. Plus we have to do different service every year thats supposed to prepare us for it. I dont know why our school does that, no one elses does that I know of. Good luck!

We have a senior project but I dont know if its required? I have no idea what it entails. I think its more like a shadowing thing. *shrugs* And when I was a sophmore, we had no paper or anything. We had to take OGTs though (ohio graduation test). I dont understand why its given to sophmores though.

Nup, Lincoln county doesn't have to do one, neither does Wilkes. ;;

8D WE HAVE TO DO THAT TOO! Only ours is called Senior Institute. And it's lame. Forserious. It's worth 15% of our final grade.
