Well. I think some are pretty great, but the pain afterwards is... well... a pain! xD I got my bellybutton pierced today after school. (: It looks so neat but hurts. I actually expected it to hurt worse, though, so I am very happy with it. ^_^ Anyone wanna see a picture?

I love piercings. My mom has a belly piercing. I dunno if I would want one, even though they are really cool. It would probably drive me crazy if it rubbed against my pants or shirt. You also have to be careful about the ornate ones getting stuck to shirts and pulling. I wanna see! Is it just a simple stud like one, or did you go for something elaborate?

I'll get a photo soon. ^_^ My momma has a belly piercing too, which is probably why I was so interested in one in the first place. It's just a ring with a blue bead on it. I'm not allowed to change it for at least 6 weeks, but the longer you wait, the better, so I'll probably wait for summer to change it. I got it during winter so it'd be pretty n' healed for the warm, bikini days. xD I don't think you can get anything other than the ring when you first get it pierced [something to do with the healing, I suppose].

Aw. yay! I think belly rings are cute, but I would never get one. I want my nose pierced though. :0 Oh, and did/when do you get your rats?

I believe my mom got a silver barbel(I said stud before, but I meant barbel) with a rhinestone on one of the ends when she had hers done. Maybe it's just different depending on where it's done?

Avla; they are cute, which is why I wanted one. I have a big nose, so I would never want a nose ring to draw more attention to it. xD I'm getting rats from a very good owner (not a breeder, her female got pregnant accidentally) in about 4 weeks or less. I decided to wait for the better-handled baby rats than the snake food ones at the Pet Store. It's smarter and will be all the better in the long run. PrinceSushi; Oh, probably. Different places, different rules. I like the barbells, so I would've loved to get that instead, but y'know. xD I couldn't. Lol.

i has 3 in my belly button xD one at the top and 2 on the sides im planing on making a star..

Try not to get peircings done in hot weather cause they bleed more and therefore make it a little painfull, I got my 2 sides done at the same time and i was like woah why are they bleeding so much and when the guy told me it was cause of the hot weather i nearly laughed and though he was joking but he wasnt... so yeah

Wow three?! Haha, I'm good with just one. I saw a picture of someone's belly button and they had the top, bottom, and both sides done. It looked pretty cool, but not something I'd want. It's way cold down here, so I don't think I'll have a problem. xD I got it done during the winter so it'd be nice and healed by summer so I can change the jewellry and it won't look so new.

Ohh, nice! I love piercings. xD I got my bellybutton done in March of 08, it's my favorite. <33 I wanna get my hips pierced super bad. They usually don't use rings for piercings like that because of swelling, the bar gives it room to swell if it needs to, while a ring would constrict it and cause problems. Same with nose piercings. Lip piercings use a ring, but that's because a stud would get lost in swollen skin. xD;

Rings are also harder to clean around. ;p

Really? I never knew that... and I also didn't know you could get your hips pierced. =O My bellybutton isn't swollen. But it's nice and sore. xD When I clean it, I have to move the ring around and wipe it all down with a Q-tip. It feels super weird/neat (also a little painful). Right now it's red at the top hole because my body's still adjusting to it. I can't believe how tolerable the pain is as long as I don't bump it. My mom convinced me it'd be extremely painful (both the piercing process and the healing process), but I must have a higher pain tolerance because I'm having no problem. I was also told that if I bent over it'd hurt a lot (from rubbing on my pants or skin) but it's not all that bad.
