Help Buffy? (Gimp Font Download)

Mkayy,<br>i have spent almost 2 hours following every tutorial i can find on how to download fonts.<br><br>I am using dafont.com.<br><br>i extracted the files, got them saved in the "fonts folder" but they won't show up in the font folder or on gimp.<br><br>any help?<br><br>thanks<br>-buffy
