He never ever ever makes a slight effort to bond with me -at all-.<br>He doesn't care about ANYTHING that I do<br>He yells at me over ANYTHING that I say to him<br>EVERYTHING I do is wrong<br>He TRIES to make my life miserable. I told him I was going to my friend's house(after my unpaid chores and homework AND babysitting my brother for an hour) and he was like "No you're not"<br>WTF?!<br>I. Hate. Him.<br>I don't understand why he won't just leave if he hates us that much<br>He makes my life miserable and awkward over anything<br>The end.

    I can't imagine my life that way! I was closer to my father than anyone else until he passed away, but maybe your dad is just being over protective? A lot of dads get really protective over their girls.

    My parents are very overprotective, but I could never see my dad actually trying to make an effort to make me HAPPY at all. He recently earned a large gift certificate from his work for a vacation. I want to be an exotic/marine vet so I automatically suggested swim with the dolphins. My brother wanted to go on a cruise though. Where you do nothing but sit down on a boat. o_o We couldn't do it where dad and my brother went for the cruise and mom and I swam with the dolphins. Everyone had to go on the cruise.<br>And I got seasick. Like I knew I would.<br>I wish he would just leave.

    O__O<br>My dad came up and asked me to read something on a battery for my mom (who was on the phone at the store) that was too small for him to read. So I read it and he started screaming at me saying that I didn't read it right. He also said that I was worthless and to get my ugly face out of his office. So, I told him he's not walking me down the isle when that day comes. We are at my gramma's now because he and mom also got into it. I hope he just leaves.
