I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me become a better member of VP. When I first came to VP last year I was an annoying, clueless newbie that overbred unwanted dogs to earn the little VPC I had. I'll admit I did some stupid things when I first came to VP. I hosted contests to earn money in which 2k was the "grand prize." I charged 100k for pups that most people wouldn't pay over 30k for. I made cheap banners with free banner making websites, loading them with glitter. I once even told a sponcer it was stupid to charge that amount of money for a dog, totally ignoring the fact it was a regional show dog. Now, when I think about those things I did I laugh.

But, if we think about it, didn't we all do these things when we first came to VP? Honestly, none of us came to VP and immediatly turned into knowledgeable sponcers with champion showdogs and millions of VPC.

And, if we think about it, most of would never have made it to where we are today without the help of kind, more experienced players to give us advice and encouragment.

Now, I can't help at laughing when an inexperienced newbie says something stupid or immature in a message. Sometimes I respond rudly to novices asking me to buy their dogs. Or I put them on ignore. I roll my eyes when a newbie asks how to put a layout on their kennel or send a contract to someone. And I usaully flat out refuse newbies begging for donations.

Yes, we say that they should be more mature and follow the rules better, and that's true, but we were all like that once.

So, I'm going to challange myself to help a newbie like that, to offer friendly advice, kind encouragment, or even a donation to a struggling newbie.

All in all, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that offered adivce or help or donations. There are many people on VP that want nothing to do with these novices, and sometimes I can be one of them, but you were patient and helpful. And I can't forget all the ops. I don't know how many times one of them calmly explained something to me when I was clueless about it. You are great people and I'm thankful for all your help!!!
