okay, so my best friends ex...she added me as a 'friend' and I accepted.<br>I don't know why she added me, when she knows I dislike her....and I have no idea why I accepted, but she was writing some pretty nasty things about something I have seen everywhere about helping Haiti, she assumes I was talking to her directly, but I was in fact talking to everyone who had said something as negative as her. (it was chain mail going around on status updates) so when I updated my status to "is tired of people saying we do not help the homeless, sick, and needy but yet we help Haiti. In case you haven't noticed they are the homeless, sick, and needy"<br>Then she messaged me freaking out...seriously....trying to start drama over the internet when I wasn't even talking at her directly, even if I was talking about her she really wants to argue over the internet...and about something as stupid as a personal oppinon.

    OMG! My brother was saying stuff like that! He is just finishing his econ class in highschool, and has been saying our country is in major debt, we have thousands of homeless people, and poor people, but we spend more time and money helping other countries than ourselves.<br> <br> I tired to explain to him that what happened in Haiti was a disaster, not a preexisting problem. At least the poor and homeless in our country can at get food, clean water, and shelter from facilities the government has set up. People in Haiti lost everything, and their society isn't even functioning right now, so without outside help it will be an never ending spiral of problems for them. <br><br> I just like to look at those people as being selfish and immature, but I don't always blame them since it is a natural instinct to ensure our own survival first. In some case we really do need to place our own problems first, but this isn't one of them.<br><br> I'd remove said person since you don't like them, and they aren't someone that matters to you. They'll probably start more fights, or say more things that will upset you. In this case you'll have to agree to disagree.

    I already removed them. ;D<br>And thank you! Everyone has been saying "a disaster shouldn't cause us to react, but we should be reacting the whole time" while I agree, they don't understand poverty will be never ending. And if it happened here in America, we would be the first to take handouts without complaints.
