  Pairs are awesome. xD<br><br>I was gonna get one black one, one white one, and name them Ebony & Ivory. LOL. But, I decided against it because I don't want a plain ol' black one and a plain ol' white one. I want at least one multi-colored one.

  Have you had the chance to play with/see them? Sometimes names come easier when you've had them for awhile. I named my girl possum because everything she did reminded me of the wild opossums we used to get in our yard and garage. She's fearless like them too.<br><br>Off your list I like Honey and Bambi.

  No, they aren't actually coming in for another estimated 20 days. I'm buying from a pet store (unfortunately, but there's nowhere else to get them in my small town) and they haven't gotten their rats in yet and don't know why. They told me they'd pick the two sweetest females once they did come in; but I'll be the judge of their choices because I know (have read a LOT) how to pick the right rat... sometimes pet store employees don't know quite as well. (Although the girls I was talking to knew quite a but - having currently owned rats themselves.)<br><br>Thanks for the votes! But yeah, I will name them once I see them. I'm just gathering votes to help narrow it down to a few names to choose from. Who knows, maybe I won't even use any of THESE names once I meet them! xD

  Don't feel bad. All my rats came from pet stores despite the abundance of breeders around(breeders tend to be exclusive with each other), and all but my latest were marked as feeders. It doesn't make them any worse or better than the fancy ones.<br><br> Yeah, pet store employees aren't always the smartest, but some are very knowledgeable. I take my male bearded dragon to the pet store quite frequently when I buy him crickets because they give him free ones while we are there, but some of the employees have made very false and embarrassing remarks regarding housing and husbandry methods for bearded dragons, but I guess they can't help it since their live reptile section is practically non-existent. <br><br> Yeah, that's happened to me! I did the whole list thing and had my friends vote, but then my mom randomly said "Snickerdoodle" and it was a perfect match despite never being on the list.
