Ipod Touch?

So i think im fixing to buy an ipod touch (Like tomorrow to be exact.) Just wanted to know what people who have them think? Looking at getting a 2nd gen 32 gig. Thoughts/Opinion/Problems with yours? -buffy

I have had my first gen 32G for 2 years. Worked amazing, played great, but. The past 6 months or so my battery has lasted up to one hour when its fully charged. It freezes my computer when its pluged in. And it's extremley slow now. I went to best buy, called apple; They both said, " 'its old' nothing we can do." I HIGHLY recommend getting warrenty along with it. Because now I wish I had it, the warrenty would have paid to fix those problems. Overal, the iTouch is something I cannot live without.

Thanks, i think i will get the extended waranty since im buying straight from the Apple company =D I had a 2nd gen Ipod Nano for like... five years and never had any trouble until about 3 months ago. It completely quit working, and it's so old that there's no point in fixing it ya know? So i finally decided that it's time for an upgrade lol. I dunno whether to just get the 2nd gen or 3rd gen touch... >.< Price difference is like $100. -rolls eyes-

I have me an 2nd gen iPod touch and it's great! It has never given me problems before. I unfortunately only have an 8 gig aha.. Anyway, just an 8 gig can hold a few thousand songs, dozens of apps, and a few movies. The apps are very amusing. Theres hundreds of thousands on iTunes and all and theres everything from games to mini scales (yes I saw one xD). Apps I reccomend... hm, DEFINITELY TAP TAP REVENGE 2!!!! It's a mini Guitar Hero. It's freaking amazing! It's my luff! And if you like Rascal Flatts they have an app called Unstoppable. And they have free texting apps so you can text people for free on there as long as you have wifi or wireless. Umm... the one thing that sucks is that when you get the free apps from iTunes, probaly 90% come in "Lite" versions which are crappy versions of the full versions. But if you can afford an iTunes card, I reccomend it. It's great. Also, one thing that's cool is that if you buy an app but delete it on iPod (I'll send you a pm with links to my iPod vids) and you spent like $ .99 on it you can get it back later without having to pay it again. Same goes with free apps; say you get it when it's out free and like a month later it's $1.99 and you deleted it, you can get it back for free the next time you put it back on your ipod. I always sit with it when its in my back pocket! I dont see why people say it brakes XD Andd I suggest 3rd gen. I heard it's way faster.

Thanks Kels. The aps and internet were why i was definately going with the Touch instead of a new nano. I like the nano, but the aps seem just too cool lol.

Mahgic-- i might look into a third gen instead. -must look at ebay lol-

I have an iTouch 3rd Gen 32 gig. i.am.in.love. I was -always- a fan of Apple, && I love their products. (: But onto the iTouch. 8D Okay, so I have a -ton- of music && videos, and so far, not a problem with -anything-. The touch screen is perfect

I -would- recommend a case. With all my other iPods and such from Apple, the back is PRONE to scratches and ugly things.

So yesh, get a CASE ASAP. 8D The only bad thing is -sometimes- it has a short battery life, but the 32 gig is prefect for me since I have movies, MVs, music, photos, tons of apps, contacts, etc. (: So yeah. I would recommend getting one. ^_^ [at least 32 or 64 GB, because 8/16 GB wouldn't be enough, for me at least. |:]

Buffy just ordered a 32 gig 3rd gen =D Found a deal on ebay and just had to have it. Around $150 or so off retail, so i did good. Hoping to get it in by Saturday so i can start playing with it lol. Blueyy-- im fixing to start looking at cases, and when i get one, im having my aunt do the engraving on it =DD

Only $150?! My best friend went to walmart and bought hers for $331 and I told her she was crazy. Now she really does seem crazy since you got yours for only $150! -insanely jealous-

It was closer to 200. But being a 3rd gen i saw them going for like 300-400 other places. I just hope that being an ebay buy... its in good condition lol

I recently got the 32gb ipod touch 3rd generation (which i don't think is much different from the 2nd generation) and love it. Although because of the price I do reccomend a case and a warranty on it. So far no problems. some things I really like are the web browsing and the fact that you can download apps and things from itunes dirrectly to the ipod with out a computer.

Oh really? I didn't know the aps could be downloaded from the ipod itself... hmm. I'm glad i got it then. =D I just bought a case for it so maybe i wont kill it like i have my phone =P
