Digital Cameras :D

So, I'm getting a new one for X-mas, but unsure of which to buy. I really want the Samsung TL220, the 12.2 megapixel one with the front LCD display.

Id=9449974</a> However, the Samsung one is the top choice for me, mostly because of the LCD display in the front xDD But, I'm open to more suggestions. ^_^ The Samsung camera is $300, so yeah, that's my limit.

I'm more of a modern-ish person, so I like the sleek && slim design. (: I really love good quality cameras, because I take a -lot- of pictures. x] [Remember, this is only a regular camera. Don't need a big fancy camera. xD] I also like camcorders, but would want a digital camera more. (: Could I have suggestions and/or reviews ?

[Also, what brand of cameras would you most recommend? Samsung, Sony, Nikon, Canon, etc ?] Thanks in advance ! (:

Doesn't take sound on videos until you upload to computer... xD 8.2 mega pixels. I'd say you go with a camera with high megapixels. I only know big fancy cameras xDD Or I'd help. Ive heard good things about Fujifilm though... not sure about the other one.

I have a Fujifilm FinePix Z20fd. Great little camera, i love it. <a href="http://www.fujifilmusa.com/products/digital_cameras/z/finepix_z20fd/index.html"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.fujifilmusa.com/products/dig ... index.html</a> It's got a really big screen on the back for viewing the pictures. Face detection -red box- Quite a few different settings for different kinds of pictures. Relatively well priced. Small and cute. The front slides open to turn the camera on and slides closed to turn it off. The zoom is good on it, and the lithium battery holds a pretty good charge. Even the video settings work well, and i've made some nice movies on it. I have 3 kodak cameras and like this one much better than any of them. I have never really been a fan of kodak but it's always what i get as gifts. >.< But the fujifilm is definately my first choise camera =D

:O That's the same as mine! xD Takes excellent macro's ;D and really nice pictures in the right light settings.. I find it performs poorly in low light conditions though $:\$

Although my cousin has one, [beautiful pictures], I just can't afford them.

@ Buffy; Wow, thanks ! I saw those at Target, and I was debating on getting them or not. x] @ clozo; thanks for your input (: I've looked at reviews on the Samsung camera, and people say it has a short battery life, the flash is unreliable, and it freezes a lot. |: But that camera is just so purty. x]
