Hello. Today I had some very sad news
...then some very good news!
I'm bored so I decided to share it with you.

Well. This afternoon we learned that my little sister's rabbit died overnight. It is a complete mystery why he died so suddenly. My dad went outside (where their hutch is) to feed them. When he came back in he told us that my sister's bunny, Muffin, was dead. Yep. He found the poor little rabbit lying dead in his hutch. It's very odd that he died so suddenly though. Is it possible that he has a heart attack? He was about three years old and hadn't been acting sick at all. In fact, just yesterday he was fine. There were no marks or blood on him either. Muffin was recently buryed in our backyard, with a wooden cross as his tombstone.

A very sad story, indeed. But, there's some happy news too!

As most of you probably know I've been hoping to get a parakeet. Well, I've been doing TONS of research. The biggest problem is convincing my parents. We already have a number of pets, so it's tough to convince them. But, definatly not impossible. I convinced my parents to get our second dog 5 years ago, our rabbits 3 years ago, and a few fish this year. So, this shouldn't be too dificult. Too prove my knowledge of parakeets, I made a long slide show about them. I believe it has 23 slides. What is the good news in this?

Well, the slide show's almost done and it looks great. Even better, my mom took me to the petshop today and we saw a parakeet there living by itself! In most petstores, you see dozens in one cage, but here, there was just one. It's actually a lot better to get a parakeet that's been living by itself because it's easier to train and handle. Yay! I'm happy. Any more parakeet advice appreciated!

Well, there's my story. Dead bunny and future bird.
