My Pack

Everyone's been asking me about my "pack", and how I've gotten them, so here they are. Please no negative comments or anything.

I have 11 dogs. We reside on a 9.5 acre property. And all dogs/cats are indoor.
We will start from youngest to oldest. "category-wise".

Dogs:

Name: Torque, Copper & Mudflap
Breed: Bloodhound/American Pitbull Terrier
Age: 7 wks.
Story:
these guys were left outside. Their mother was chained over 50 ft. from the house, and the temperature at night had started to drop. We saw them, and talked to the owner of the mother, and she said she didnt want the pups, so that's why they were outside. There was no food or water out by the mother either. And the next day, we got snow. The mother did have a doghouse, but it had just sat on the ground, so the bottom was just dirt. The pups might've froze if we didnt take them. All look like Bloodhounds, except for coloration. Copper, a female with green eyes, is the only one that looks exactly like a bloodhound, including coloration. She was the first to bay too. Mudflap is also a female. She is brindle in coloration, and looks just like a bloodhound as-well. She was the shyest when we brought her home, but was the first to show her personality. She loves to be around her people. Torque, was the only male. He is a reverse brindle, with the big floppy ears, but looks more American Pitbull than anything. He has quite a personality. He loves to talk back and tends to get really mouthy.

From front to back; <a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/4af87c416d366c3b4b0bf41b0.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Copper, Mudflap and Torque:
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/4af87c417c58919c231a5ed10.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Torque
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/4af87c417f469ba7b739c08f6.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Copper
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/4af87c418001dea3cdb7cae43.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Mudflap

Name: Joey
Breed: Blind Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever
Age: 4 months.
Story:
The dam was the Lab and sire was the Aussie.
The dam had 10 pups in all, and when I had went to buy Joey, there was only 5 left. She was supposedly a "problem" puppy. I was told she was an escape artist, and loved causing trouble. But this little pup is anything but.
The night I brought her home, she slept next to my head on the floor automatically. She didnt even attempt to go on the bed. She will wander around the house, and even go outside to go potty by herself at night, then find her spot back on the floor.
She's already potty trained.I've also taught her to sit, lay down, and stay. She even herds bunnies! She likes to "nibble" on them, and gets in trouble for that, but is merely playing.
She attaches herself to me at the hip. And stays on my left side right next to my feet as we walk. She walks great off-leash, and goes everywhere with me. She even does awesomely in the car by herself. She's an awesome pup.
She was born with an "undeveloped eye", which is where the Merle Gene hit twice, or so the vet had told me. The top half of her right eye is green, then splits right in half, and turns into ice blue at the bottom. The pupil also "spills" into the iris. It makes her look very unique, and she's a one-of-a-kind. And she's not quite a "Red Merle", but more of a "Chocolate Merle"... If that's even possible. There was 3 Merles out of the entire litter, and Joey had a "twin brother", who was picked out just before I got Joey. But he didnt have her eye "defect".
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/Joey1-1.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss15 ... oey1-1.jpg
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/Joey-1.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss15 ... She isnt potty trained and has no house manners what-so-ever. She had -no- personality either, and was very skittish of everyone. Joey is starting to get her out of her shell. He has no use in his entire left-side of his face, and is completely blind in his left eye now. We suspect that he was kicked on the left side by a moose, and suffered from a stroke. He now is getting back slowly. But has some bad days when he has seizures, and doesnt want to eat. But is getting better.

These pics were recently taken. He was in a bad case of divorce back in July. His owners had him for 8 yrs. and when they had gotten a divorce, they left him at a local animal shelter for 5 wks. while they decided who would get him. After the divorce was settled, they decided they didnt want him, and had left him at the pound. I saw this handsome little guy on Petfinder, and the next day, I went and got him. I was told he was not potty trained, had bad manners, would bolt out the door everytime it opened, wandered off, etc. I brought him home, and besides a big ol' mat that covered his entire body from unproper grooming, he was perfect. Didnt go potty in the house, stayed by me the entire time, and even sleeps with me at night. He goes everywhere I go, and loves to go for car rides. If I leave him alone though, he will wait by the door or sleep in my room. Sometimes he hyperventalates. But he's slowly getting over it. His previous name was Baker... LMAO. Dingo fits him quite well, and he came to it more than he did with Baker.
<a href="http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss151/dodgersuperman/PIC_1839.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss15 ... They didnt really care for the dogs. And ended up leaving town. My dad had taken all 3, the mother, and her 2 pups. This was around September of 1991. Jessie has outlived his mother and brother, even all 10 pups, except for 2 that remain (they're about 10 yrs. old now). He still acts like a little pup, and teaches all our new pups to behave around other dogs. Looking at him, you wouldnt even suspect he was that old. But vet records prove otherwise. He does have his bad days with the cold weather and his joints, but doesnt let that slow him down!
