Job Interview.

So yesterday i had an interview scheduled at 3pm for a screen printing job(making shirts/hats, doing embrordary and such) well my interview got moved to 3:30, so i had to call in late to my current job.<br><br>There were three people who had interviews yesterday and they scheduled us at the same time and had to change times on me >.<<br><br>Well i got a call today at 3:15 while i was at work... yesterday the lady called my cell, today she called the home phone and wanted a call back before 5:30. Hello, i work until 6 and clearly told you that yesterday. >.<<br><br>So now i don't know, im really hoping i got the job, but im not really sure.<br><br>And quitting my current job is going to be a pain in the butt. =//<br><br>-buffy

    <span style="font-size:92">OMG! Finding a job is such a pain. Since February I've filled out 72 (yes, I've kept count and I have a list of numbers to all the places D= ) applications, some more than once because the application expired.<br><br>Nobody around here is hiring part time students because there are adults with families that have been laid off and need full time jobs. So all the jobs that teenagers normally have no problem getting are being taken up by adults. ;-;<br><br>Congrats though!</span>

    Thanks Dach and Woody.<br><br>Vi-- i know exactly what you mean. I was working for FREE as an intern at an apartment complex in order to graduate early. I had filled out around 30 applications to about everywhere in town. -small town- And got nothing at all. Then my Co-op teacher said that our monogram shop would take a student for a part time job -around 20 hours a week- and i applied. there were 3 of us and i got the job. I'm really excited. im starting at 7.25 an hour and in 2 weeks it goes to 7.50 with gradual increases the more i learn. Topping out at 12-15 an hour. So it's a good job. <br>But even kids wanting to work at McDonalds are having to fight 30-40 year olds with a college degree for the jobs >.<<br>It's sad the way the economy is. :roll:
