Layout Critique?

I think this is in the right section.. Anyways I bet some people on here didn't know, but I can make layouts. I've known coding for around five years and have taken a course. I just don't find much enjoyment from making them. I also don't normally like how they turn out. <a href="http://www.virtualpups.com/index.php?r=kennel/view&id=91151"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">So this is my first one in awhile.</a> It's best viewed in IE I made this for me and which is why its a nice simple style. The banner was also created by me. There was no blending and no use of the background eraser. The banner is basically an art peice of mine with the 'old photograph' effect with some text slapped on. So I am looking for critique on both. Is there something I should fix? Is there something I did right?

i quite Like it it's cimple which is usualy the best thing to go with though the only thing that I would suggest id that for the bottom scroll banner thing you make it a little bigger. and maybe you should add a copyright code at the bottom. I like the banner as well that you did though I think some other kind of font should have been used but once again simple is always the best.

The bottom scroll thing would be..what? The table with the banners inside? I had it at a bigger size and it seemed awkward to me and its smaller out of personal preference. Unless you can give me dimensions that may look nice? And what fonts would you say for the banner? Did mine somehow not fit? Or is it something else? I'm just trying to get more clear as to what you mean

I like the layout alot! although I would change the width of the bottom box so the banner fits without scrolling left and right and I would get rid of the arrows for a scroll at the bottom of the text box section. Personally I don't like the look of horizontal scrollbars. Does that make sense? (I've been known not to)

I would except I can't figure out how to fix that horizontal scroll. If someone could look at my code and help me out that'd be great. xD And I edited the box with the banners.

where it says overflow: scroll change scroll to auto. Should do the trick

if not there is one more thing you can do.
