LOL

There's this website that I shan't mention, but it has movies and you comment on them. (Oooh, big mystery.) Anyway, there's this video of a Staffie, and if you go on this site regularly, you will see that EVERY movie in the following breeds has fights in the comments between people that think they know everything: Cane Corso, Tosa Inu, Caucasian Mountain Dog, APBT, Staffies, Great Dane, Presa Canario, Kangal Dog, etc etc etc.

So I'm watching this Staffie movie, and looking at the comments.

There's like 10 people that say something along the lines of.... "were can i bye a staff in my area for under 300".

So I'm like all fed up so I reply to one and say, "People who sell their pups for $300 are selling you countless of veterinary bills and heartaches."

Some girl comes up randomly and says, "who cares, they are living animals to, they are alive and have every right to live. with my staffy we dont care how much it costs to help out her little heart as long as shes alive and shes there for me to love. your so selfish"

Then I say, "You don't even know me. I'd rather have a dog I can love without it dying at 2 years old because of a heart attack. And how is it selfish that I want my dog to be healthy? Whatever I'm not here to argue with stranger's opinions."

Then she says, "if you love the dog which gets heart aches and might possibley die when its 2 years old, it wouldnt matter how much you paid for it. im saying your selfish is because youd rather keep your money that help out an animal. and btw that is what ******** is for, replying to others peoples comments."

SOOOO

I messaged her/him with this. Tell me what you think !!!!!!!!

molliescoots
...

Selfish
...
Selfish
I'm confused by your statements.

You think me wanting the best for my dog is selfish?

I would think you'd think those that breed dogs with unstable minds, unhealthy hearts joints and nervous system are selfish. They're doing it for money. There's no good reason to breed an obviously UNSOUND dog if they really cared about it.

I support the breeders who take ALL the time to test hips, elbows, eyes, heart, thyroid, brucella to clear their breeding stock and make sure what they're breeding is going to be HEALTHY and live a full painless life. I will NEVER support breeders who do NOT health test, so therefore, I will not be buying dogs from backyard breeders or puppy mills. Buying animals from these types of people is plain and simply supporting them and making room for more dying and sick puppies.

I personally think THAT is more selfish than true love for a dog. True love for a dog thinks about it in the long run, not how it affects me, but how THE DOG is affected by environmental stimuli and how it was bred. It's not about my spending money, it's about the background of the dog and how it got here what's important... and also how it's going to stay.

Think about that please before you make an uneducated and twisted comment to someone you don't even personally know.

LOL

But seriously. Ugh. I hate it when people are prejudice... against EVERYTHING including dogs. It's so stupid and a gigantic waste of time. I'm sure I'm wasting my time trying to change their minds because it doesn't work.

People are so weird with the subject of dogs.

I just get so passionate with things like this, ESPECIALLY with breeding. When someone tells me they want to breed a dog and are looking for a stud in their area I plainly tell them do not breed if you will only use a stud in your area. If you REALLY cared about the future generations you'd pay $5k for a dog that lives internationally. Honest.
