So, as many of you know I have been having complications with my lizard well I believe she is dying of old age...the vets keep telling me the same stuff over again. Well, I talked to my mom and said I don't think she is gonna make it through the night and she was like, "Well, we can flush it and get a new one, right?" WTF! NO!!!! She means just as much to me as the dogs do...it's a good thing I still live here or the animals would receive 0 care. And then my dad said, "It's just a lizard" I was so pissed, it may be a <span style="font-style:italic">"lizard"</span> to you, but to me it's something I have grown an attachment to. <br><br>I mean how cruel is that?

  • I'm sorry to hear that your lizard isn't doing good. That wasn't nice of them to say. But not everyone gets that attached to their pets. I am like you I get very attached to all my animals. What kind of lizard do you have?

  • Well, she's technically just mine. <br>My grandma got her for me 2 years ago for my birthday, because she knew I was really into reptiles. :/<br>And she is a collared lizard.
  • Update -I took her to the vet once more today, they gave her some fluid and some special food that I need to force feed her. They aren't sure what's wrong with her but she is sick, they want to wait it out and see if she makes any signs of improvement.
