Question about Animation for Gimp

I know how to make a Animated Banner on Gimp but I don't know how to regulate the speed for the flashing pictures or the text. If you can give me some tips on what to do I will pay you 1 Million. PM me with information though so I can ask questions.

There's no option to regulate time? I know nothing of gimp, all the experience I have is from reading something about animating in photoshop. Have you tried just having the same frame a few times? Like instead of 1,2,3, you have 1,1,2,2,3,3.

there actually is, when you name the layers you have to give them a certain name. Actually if you reopened your banner that is saved as a .gif in gimp you can get the name format.
