It seems every single year teachers have you write about your goals. I HATE that. It's the same thing all the time. What if I don't like to set goals? It frustrates me because I'm one of those people that don't have high expectations for anything. Goals just upset me if I don't reach them. I swear if I have to make up goals one more time.. xD Secondly, I don't like training! Nuff said. Oh one more thing! Copiers. I don't care if it's supposed to be flattering. Unless I'm trying to start something on purpose (like using oak) then don't do it! How is it flattering if it annoys me? It's not! Its one thing to say you want to be like someone, its another to totally take on their persona etc. Sure if you want to be like someone, take a little and mix it with yourself. Don't become them!

Oh my gosh I completly agree. Both my english and social studies teachers made me write about my goals this year. I just do my best, try my hardest and that's that. I don't need to set any goals, and thinking of them is a pointless waste of time for me. I understand that they are helpful to some, but not to me. I suppose one goal could've been improving at horse back riding, but it wasn't allowd in the assignment. Only "academic goals.":roll: What are your three goals? How do you plan to achieve them? Blah blah balh whatever.

OMG yes. It's always academic goals! Except mine was assigned in economics and we needed to make financial goals. I'm like "uh..I dont even have a job o.o;" lmao. I think Juniors really need a 'set your goals' assignment. By now we know what works for us and what doesn't. For me, I just can't do them! I get disappointed way easly. ;P

Yeah, I agree. We can figure it out on our own. We don't need a stupid goals thingy to help us. But I always end up making up random ones and never doing them anyways.

Yep, me too. They're boring, but at least I can get the assigment over with. Sometime in the beggining of the year I also get stuff like "Tell what it means to be responsible." Boring, boring, boring. 3rd grade, 3rd grade, 3rd grade. :roll:

I actually like a list of goals, it shows you have a plan in your life and you want to make something out of yourself. Wheather it be small or large. And even if my goals change or I am not succesful in that area it won't bring me down and it shouldn't. :P On the copying area, I have to agree. >.> xDD

Rofl see I just can't. I dont know what I want to do when I'm older. Im getting a whole bunch of extra classes to see if I find something and I'm going to a 2 year college to have more time to decide (and its less money). And yeah..copying just gets to me like that. Don't know why. But I have to say... I can't believe OAK caught on. That's the bomb xD

Trust me, I know what you mean. XD I still am working on my career goals/ideas, but as for my actual career it's set in stone. You have time.

Doesn't feel like it. lol. Most kids know what they want here. I need to look at colleges since next year is my last year in high school. Its scareh! ;;

My boyfriend had no idea what he wanted to do until a few months back, and he graduates in December. Ya never know, It might hit you the last second. :P I planned on going to college up until last year, so everything I had hoped for when down the drain, but doesn't mean that I won't be unsuccesful.

I already know what college I want to go to, and that I want to be an elemantary school teacher, but that's a long way away for me.

I don't ever have goals. Because normally I forget about them. xD And I don't care for them anyways. I hate when teachers throw a paper at you and say, "Write down your lifelong goals and how you'll achieve them. You have ten minutes." I know what I want to be. A writer. But if I can't do that, I want to be a vet's assistant. (Maybe even do both, writing on the side of my vet's assistant job.) I was even thinking of being a nurse, but I want to be an animal nurse because animals are more pleasant to be around than people sometimes. xD And they're more patient than people when it comes to pain... probably because they don't know how to talk or swear. o.O Lmfao.
