PLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASE DO NOT TAKE THIS!!!!!! I spent like 2.5 hours on it just now to make it for my Mom.... Taking it would be just, inhuman. Also it is not a creative commons photo, which means you can't recreate it!! You can make a photo with mountains and a horse but not copy or plagiarize this picture exactly. Sad that I have to ask that on a game I come on every day. <img src="http://i32.tinypic.com/35d51lz.jpg"; alt="http://i32.tinypic.com/35d51lz.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> I love it so much, I just hope Mom loves it too! The story behind it is huge but super meaningful. My Mom's dream horse is a Paint and she's gunna name him Orlando, which means, "Land of gold." How do you like it? Someone on another site gave me some pointers which really helped me fix up my graphics.

The colors co together really well - I think the only constructive criticism I can offer is that the legs fading into the grass is a bit too obvious, if you know what I mean. Great job though!

I think the only constructive criticism I can offer is that the legs fading into the grass is a bit too obvious, if you know what I mean.

Is it? I actually took the grass behind the horse and put it onto the legs, and then erased the grass a little. Tried to make the hind anterior leg look like it was in the grass, but then the front legs above it.

Oh well I will try and fix that.

Oh I completely agree - when I do a photomanip, I can sometimes end up repainting it almost entirely to get the lighting and color JUST right, and then it's not even noticed xD Just out of curiosity, who took the original photos?

i can only say one word to describe it. WOW If i could make something like that, id be so happy. how'd you do all the lighting changes and stuff? I would LOVE to be able to do that

LOL thank you woodpecker!!! Well, I used the paint brush in overlay mode, set it to about 300px in size and about 60% opacity, and just dabbed it in the places I wanted the sun to shine on. Thankfully the lighting on the field/clouds pic was pretty obvious, but I still painted on the grass and the tops of the clouds. I found this perfect mountain picture and painted on it too. Then the horse already had the sun shining on it, although I must say it could have been a bit shinier, or maybe a different color. I wanted him to pop though. Then I changed black & white colors to a more yellowy orange, because if you look at the original photos, they just don't have the lighting/atmosphere that I wanted.

It says on the corner in my picture. They're all from Deviant Art. The background was taken by <a href="http://alegion-stock.deviantart.com/art/Field-1-66861004"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Alegion-stock</a>, a stock artist. The mountain picture was taken by <a href="http://resurgere.deviantart.com/"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Resurgere</a>, a professional stock photographer. And then the horse was taken by <a href="http://t-lionheart.deviantart.com/"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">T-LionHeart</a>. It was just her own horse I'm pretty sure.

But remember if you use stock photos from them, it must be uploaded onto DeviantArt and sometimes they can't be used for use outside of that site.
