Any drummers out there?

So Ive recently recived a set of drums for my birthday, after two years of begging. And I realized..<br><br>I have no idea where to start!<br><br>Any tips? Got a friend whos a drummer? Ask them for tips for me? xD<br>No, I wont be taking lessons, so thats not an option. Ive tried listening to a song and copying it, that doesnt work for me. Im not good at picking out the drums. (Okay, I can, but it takes me FOREVER)<br><br>Any tips/help at all is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks
