How in the world do I solve a problem like A = 1/2 (x +y) its algebra 1/trig homework. I don't get it >.> Its actually a review sheet for a quiz I get everything but that problem.

start with: x+y= (?) if theres other numbers that equal x and y that would give you the first answer (?)x1/2=A <<that would be the final answer, i think this is what you were looking for?
