Okay, most of mi old dump was pretty old stuff..and I don't really even draw the same anymore. x.x so I'm making a new one.

For all mi recent to new stuff.

These'll mostly be sketches, but I may grace a few posts with digital art. xD Sorry for the huge post of big pics. x.x some are detailed and I didn't want to shrink more and lose the detail. :? None of these had any ref pics..and the dog was when I was attempting to get mi muse back to canines so I could finally do either buffy's or shameh's commission. xD (btw-sorry whichever of you it is.

but it just takes determination and practice. =D xD I feel like a damn teacher. lmao but anywhoo. I've been trying mi hand at pencil shading..and I'd love for some crit and if anyone would buy. =O I'm looking to actually put something on mi site for sale. xD but I may sell just the lines on here.

I like the fact that you're drawing different breeds, but in all honesty the Akita and the Pharaoh hound look too much alike. It seems to be the eyebrow shading, the under the eye shading, and the muzzle shading making them look a lot alike. Study the faces and compare what makes breeds look alike, and what makes them different. They wont all have the same facial structures. You know the gist of what you're doing, studying anatomy will help you understand the details. I'd say you should work on ears a little more. I love the shading on the Akita. How the front face is dark and then the back is bright. Very nice.

I know what you mean. I noticed that but kinda was like whatever about it. :? Even though I really shouldn't have been like that about it an tried to fix it. x3 But I do plan on looking more into anatomy. I might either try to fix the hound, or I'll redraw it. I think they eyebrow looks more natural on the Akita then the hound.

Well, as for the ears-I'm terrible at ears in general. xD the muzzles I thought looked pretty right to me.. o.O anything specific? and the necks are all different, so those..I just kinda drew quick lines for. x3 and thank you. ^-^

The ears can also lay flat on the head. xDD Maybe make it a little longer through the mouth area? Overall your shading is very nice for not having refs...I always have to use a ref and just add random stuff onto it. XD

I'll be sure to remember the longer muzzles on the next ones. ^-^ And I know they can. xD I just don't like drawing them like that at all, and I'm trying to get better with the upright ones.

On that last colored picture, it's nice!

Though, it seems you only have like, 2 color tones. x3 Your shadow, and highlight. Now that you've got the shading down, you should be adding midtones, and other colors as well. Like, if you look at the latest thing I just posted. There is a crap load of color in that. And all of that works up to getting a more realistic picture.

To start, use a picture as a ref, and copy the color as exact as you can. And to get the different colors in, use the color picker too, and steal the color off the ref. xD That's how I got an idea of what colors to use and such.

But, just try adding them in little by little. Because you're doing an excellent job so far! Especially with working the muscle definition in there. I'm sorry x3 I like to go on, and on. xD

xD it's fine. lol I do the same thing if it's something even remotely interesting. xD And I did notice there being no midtones. x.x I was adding them in..and then they just kinda went.. *poof* and then I was like: to hell with it! xD I just wanted to finish it after I found it in the back of mi cousin's computer. lmao But thankies for the crit. ^-^ I'll be sure to use more refs. xD

XD I'm making all the family album pages on GIMP for mi spanish II project now..but I have to get a shower real quick after I finish them. x.x I was suppose to be done over an hour ago with this crap. Well, I still don't really have time. xD but I thought I'd post 2 of the newest sketches and the present I'm working on for a friend. x.x I really hope he likes it until I can finish colouring the one I actually drew. xD I'm not claiming lines to this one, they're Bara's. I've only coloured, and I'm still working on it, so unless it's the body colour (except the blaze, I'm not done with that) don't say anything about it..even though there's not even anything to say..because it's not coloured at all. xD It's suppose to be mi friend Andrew's horse Toby, the one I've been riding every chance I get. lol <img src="http://i35.tinypic.com/20jh1tf.jpg"; alt="http://i35.tinypic.com/20jh1tf.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> And these next two are what I've been working on, human/anthro. xD They're the Seriphic Personifications for the religion, Phampyre, of Sanron (for the world cultures project, we had to make our own country and everything) Deariv, the first one I drew. He personifies Night and is the most influential and powerful of the male "gods" And his "anthro" side is a Raccoon: <img src="http://i33.tinypic.com/dy26wl.jpg"; alt="http://i33.tinypic.com/dy26wl.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> Darven, the one I've been working on all today and yesterday, he's not completly finished. x.x but oh well, Cassie won't have her drawings of the females finished for presentation anyways. :roll: His "anthro" side is the Raven.
