How dare she!!

My friend was in a relationship with a girl for 1 year. They broke up a little while ago though. Well everyone had thought the girl was nice but she was and is a total control freak. My friend couldn't do anything without his girlfriend yelling and complaining about how he never did anything with her. Yeah right! She was over at his house basically every day of the week. Well he is glad the relationship is over and all. He has been doing better. Well now the idiot girl is now spreading rumors around the school that he beat her and left bruises and all. How dare she? I'm sorry but thats just wrong and rude. She already has another boyfriend and all. I want her to just leave him alone. Can't she make one good choice? I hate this. I live 40 minutes away from him and all I can do is talk to him on the phone. I want to be by his side and let him just spill all of his feelings so he can move on and heal. She has hurt him so much. He doesn't deserve any of it. He's one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. I've known his since we were infants. He would NEVER hurt a girl. I hate living so far away from him. I'm just so ticked off right now that I'd WALK up there. I know all he can do is wait it out but still. I want to do something buts theres nothing I can do. I'm going to now be quiet before I say something I'll regret later.
