So my friend called me up and asked if I wanted to sleepover. I rarely get to sleepover at her house, but I probably can't because I have to babysit my little sister! :x I babysit her everyday accept weekends and don't even get paid because I'm her sister. Now I can't even make plans with my best friend because I have to sit around babysitting. It makes me so angry! :evil: Lame rant over, just had to get that out.

The problem is they are breeders, and the puppies are being picked up today, so she would'nt have been able to say goodbye to them if she came here. :?

If you both aren't available, there's a weekend to every week. I try to make plans with my friends in a bit of advance so if anything comes up, they can say, "Sorry. I have plans. I'm going to be with my best friend." And, if something really, really important comes up, they can tell me that they are no longer available. Life goes on. Then, I plan another sleepover with them.

Normally it turns out the next time. The only reason I would ever vent about my friend not sleeping over is if I'd asked and made plans over and over again and my friend repeatedly said she couldn't come. Even then I'd just give up and probably not bother to rant. xD Lmfao.

It's not just that, it's that I babysit my sister every day, don't get payed, and can't even make plans with a friend on a week day.

I do understand. But I also don't get paid for babysitting my little sister every day. I also don't get paid for doing chores, either. That doesn't stop me from doing them or from babysitting my sister. My dad works 8-12 hours a day 6-7 days a week. My mom works 8 hours a day 3-5 days a week. I am happy to help them out - after all, they're working hard to keep our family stable and able to buy neccessities. It's the summer. I expect to have to watch my sister on weekdays while my parents go to work to earn money. Once it's school again, I only have to watch her for an hour or two before they come home... On weekends I am free to make plans with my friends if we have no family plans already. I can handle that. Just think. Your parents go out working for almost the whole day, come home and make dinner, etc. go to bed and have to do it all over again the next day until Friday. It must be absolutely exhausting. And while you're babysitting your sister you're able to lounge around, eat when you want, watch TV, go outside, walk the dogs, play with your pets, use the Wii, go on VP, tidy the house (if it's needed or wanted), etc, etc. You can do practically what you want while they have to follow rules and instructions 8 hours a day at work. Think about it. I think you have it pretty darn good. xD I know I do. I get to sit around and boss my sister around all day while I watch TV! (Haha, just kidding. I only remind her to do her chores. =P)
