Florida?

okay so i was gone to florida for a week & a half... we went to this little town called Westville to vist my family... what i saw there TOTALLY mad me so mad... i was crying my eyes out for like 3 hours.... There were 5 dogs there...i guess all were strays...3 girls 2 boys... i named them all but there was something very sad about each of them... The dogs: M&M i love that name..but anyway..he was black with white paws... He was about 10-15 pounds maybe...but i was guessing he was suppossed to be about 30 plus pounds..he looked like a border collie mix. His paw was always held up in a broken way..it looked as if it botherd him.. Shadow HUGE brown dog.. maybe about 30 pounds.... looked like a great dane mix with some herding dog.... had a scar above his right eye and one of his toes was cut off... Delilah BEAUTIFUL dog...looked like she had a brindle sadle on her back. the rest of her body was a dirty mangy white. one of her eyes had something wrong with it..it was a foggyish color....maybe about 15 pounds... Scar my favorite..she has a story to tell, you could see every bone in her body not to mention she had puppies after puppies... had missing hair patches on her elbows, hindquarters & some on her back. had TONS of scars on her face...terrified of big objects.. dosent tryst people that much... she was pure black... sad eyes..looked like a lab mix... she was no more than 10-15 pounds at the max... Simon Brindle female... cut through her head and a shot in the hind leg.. missing hair all over besids the head..blood all over here body were the wounds are...poor girl was shot the day i left....

my mom wouldnt let me call the animal shelter & when i asked to feed them..you know what my aunt said? "no, beacuse the people in the neiborhood are talking about poising them & i dont want dead dogs on my yard" Really? poisioning dogs? how sick can you get? first you shot and cut one dog now your trying to poision the rest? it makes me so mad that people are like this in the world.... :roll:

I live in Florida, and yes there is an outrageous number of animals roaming the streets here. I'm not to sure where westville is. -I will have to look it up- I have an epic novel full of stray animal stories. XD But, where I live there is a LOT of stray cats, most of them end up dumped off at our house because we have cats already and they come to eat the dog/cat food. We also had a stray German Shepherd once [Trigger], he was a sweetie pie. He never growled or barked, he was very timid though. Sad thing though he had a collar imbeded in his neck and he wouldn't let us pet him long enough to even look at it. The owner of him dumped him out on the streets, but animal control came and finally got him. :[ THEN, we found a lab [bogger] who had been hit my a car, his leg was almost torn off. -we found the owners- and he healed up vuryy nice. There has been sevral cases of pit bulls being set free in our neighboor hood and they have attacked many people and other animals. -breathe- Almost done. 0.o XD We also found two neo mastiffs in our backyard -[Sampson and Delilah]. How they got there? I don't know. XD But, they where purty, and huge. o.o And last but not least, SPARKY! He was a little West Highland terrier, well our neighboors put him into our backyard thinking it was one of my poodles...and so when my mom got home she like ajshdghsdkjg how'd he get there. XD But, the owners finally showed up. -edit- Our animal shelter close by has been putting animals to sleep every day, SEVRAL animals because they have too many...it's sad.

yea, westville is a SMALL town very small..... i never knew it exsited either LMAO... but, id rather the dogs get put to sleep them sit there an suffer from lack of food, injurys ect. very said indeed...

westville....not so many cats..just plan dogs.... never saw a cat while i was there....
