edited August 2009 in General Discussion
I have been riding several years. I am 13. Pretty responsible and ready for the challenge. I am looking into jumping/hunter/XC . I am a thrill seeker. :D This is what I am looking for:
-16.0 hands or taller
-15 years or younger
-Hunter/jumping ability at least 2.6 feet.
-Any color

In order to get a horse, I am raising money by selling handmade soap . Please visit my website even if it's just to look around! Not allowed .

  • That's cool! Imo, looking for a horse that fits you physically and fits your personality is better than looking for one type of breed. There are variations of temperament and athleticism within a breed.
"war cry" presas canarios, aryan molossus, and cao.
  • You may have been riding for YEARS, but buying your own horse is a scary experience.
My girl is green, but a total sweetheart. She's 6 years old and completely relies on me for reassurance and confidence. If I get stressed about something she gets freaked about it because she's not confident.
Its really rewarding when things go right, but TERRIFYING to thing this animal and its training is your responsibility. If YOU mess up something in their training, its YOUR fault completely.
That being said, good luck!
Wow same with my horse he is a NSH and not anything against arabs i love them i mean i have an arab farm but you know how they say an arab sences what your feeling better than other horses that is exactly true with him, he gets hyper and ancy anyway and before our jumping class i got nervous, and oh gosh he was prancing and he wouldn't walk so you just have to stay clam especially with arabs lol all mine can sense stuff like that big time lol so i have learned to stay caqlm and there calm:)
