Ok so i have to go to the dentists tomorrow. And no matter WHAT i do i always FREAK when i see a needle and start to actually panick and get very ancy and aggrivated.....Anyone have advice to get over my fears?

    Think of something else? Theres really not much you can do at the dentist's office since you have to sit so still xD <br><br>I usually fall asleep at the dentists xD I have to like, try to stay awake...

    How come you get antsy? You should ask for vallium .. :P No seriously. They do that at my dentist... I'm pretty sure they would give you a couple if you said the needles makes you very nervous.

    <span style="font-size:92">Unless you're getting a filling or something that requires you to be numb, they shouldn't be touching you with needles.. o.o;<br><br>Valium doesn't work for me. xD I had to take it before I had jaw surgery and it did nada for me.</span>

    :shock: I <span style="font-weight:bold">hate</span> the dentist. :shock: <br><br>I hate the smell of all the tooth paste and medicine, I hate the feel my stomach gets when I walk into the waiting room, it's awful. Even if it's just a check-up I start thinking <span style="font-style:italic">Please don't say I need filling, please don't say I need a tooth pulled.....etc.</span><br><br>The worse thing is the dentist treats me like I'm three. Or two. Seriously, he goes, "Open bigs bigs, open bigs bigs! Now Mr. Mortercycle will give you little tickles, little tickles." :x <br><br>One time, he asked me if I knew how to count to 30!<br><br>I'm like, what the heck?! :roll: <br><br>Anyways, I'm probably not helping your situaton, so just take deep breaths, close your eyes and don't look at the tools, and don't think about what might happen on the way there. :D
