What is this? I'm finally drawing again?!

Lost my muse for quite some time there. ;; && My tablet pen. xDDD Soo. I don't know what you mean by differently though? I am changing the first one so it will have more of a bend in it. And it should look better once I have the back legs in there as well.

I'm not too sure myself to be honest.. but the back leg to me looks like its bending inwards... probably only to me >.<

I think what Clozo meant was it was bending inwards. And after reading everything(cough cough) I found out that's right! Maybe shorten the leg up a tad to give it that.. perspective? I'm not sure. xD But it looks -amazing-. Look under your bed.

I've improved so much since you ordered it.. it'll be like, 10x better! xDDD If you want some sketches in the mean time, that you can line and color or do whatever with, PM me! Argh. I got mad at that WIP. >.> I do plan on finishing it though. But Dreamy's newest project made me want to do a head shot. Soo. I did this ROUGH sketch that I did in about 5 mins. Not... bad!! I think you just have to practice drawing straight lines free hand. You use more confidence in the way you use your lines to draw things. other than that i think you just need general practice to "level up" always draw what you see and not what you think you see If you're going to attempt shading i suggest you build it up in layers. block in the shadow then leave white areas for the highlights. do this very very lightly. Once you've nailed down where all the highlights and shadows are, you can work from there to build up the rest. Crosshatch finely (i.e lay lines down next to each other/shade using lines only) so that it looks like one big block of even shading. This takes a while to get used to, less tiring on the hand than pressure shading. apart from that, practice and more pratice. draw from life if you can. cheers!

Thank you very much! Straight lines? Shall do. x3 I know, I know. I always tell myself that too. "Draw what you see and not what you think you see" It's funny though. Cause when I'm first drawing from a ref.. when I have my 'end' result it's always like 'Look how amazingly accurate this is! 8DD' And then I look far 3 days later and it's like. WHAT WAS I THINKING. This and this and that is way off from my ref! -facepalm- So yesh, I am working on this. xD Alrighty, I think I understand what you mean for the most part, although do you think you might have an example hiding somewhere?
