Was it Rude?

okay well, one of my friends on VP (lets say her name is kate) has been a pretty good friend...when she first started out, i got her 3 Imported American Wild Dogs and got them trained and i was the one that gave her 2 milly so she can get a start on VP and get her dogs bred and stuff. well, she has recently started a Doberman Project and needs a sponser i guess....i have told her that i MIGHT be getting a sponser and that i will lower prices for her. BUT she INSISTS that i get her one too, i told her i cant, i dont have the money to get 2...but she said that if she was buying a sponser she would get me one also...i feel REALLY bad cause she said she would get me one....but...was i being rude?

    if you can't afford it there's no reason to feel bad or feel like you were rude. and I'm not trying to call her a liar or anything of the sort, but most of the times people say that if they were getting something they'd get you one too, they don't really mean it. It's mostly known as the guilt trip, I've had it done to me multiple times, that's why I'm mean now. :? (but not always, just people that don't feel right)

    yea, i mean...iv donea lot for her... & she says she will repay me once she gets a sponser....but how will she repay me if i get her a sponser? i mean she is a good friend...i just cant afford it...

    You gave her all that stuff and she just took you for granted and tryed to make you feel guilty until you got her more.<br><br>You are not be rude by telling her you can't get her a sponcer.<br><br>She says she would've gotten you one, well that's just her trying to make you feel bad and give her one. :roll: <br><br>Just tell her no. I don't think you're being rude at all. :wink:

If she can't accept the fact that you can't get her one, she isn't a good friend to be around. :)<br>Friends should understand the first time you said no, or I can't. If they ask a question why, I guess thats understandable but if she is playing the guilty factor, tell her straight up.<br><br>The fact that you done all you did for her should be good enough to get her started. <br>You don't want a friend who is a parasite to you if you get what I mean. :wink:<br><br><br><br><br>-not trying to be rude, its just what I would do. tell them the truth that you can't.- :)</span></span>
