Well, Gator is a no. I emailed the rescue and they said they would send a dog to where I live, but they have someone looking at him next week and he might be adopted. Plus, he does not like cats or big dogs (which they should've stated in his description - especially when they said he gets along with dogs, but whatever xP). So, he would be neither good for our budget or our household. Which is fine, I hope he gets a good home. ;D

I saw a Chihuahua/Spaniel on petfinder.com in my local pound and she's pretty cute. She was found in the mall parking lot and no one's stepped up and claimed her. D; Poor thing. Her name is Coco (oh, how I loathe that name xD), and she's a copper-red color all over. She looks like a large long-haired chihuahua xD. She's active and loves walks, so I like that. We're going to go and have a look at her maybe this weekend! And we'll check out all the other little dogs in there, too. ;D

So, let's hope she's a good little girl and she and I click. Maybe she'll find a home with us.

But, regardless, I want to find the right dog.
Awww, I'm sorry Ludie it didn't work out with Gator but yeah, your right. Its for the best.

Do you have a pic of Coco? She sounds so cute!!<3

Whiney wishes to add on to this. xD

I think jack russells are awesome! xDD I have only owned one and she was actualy an English Jack Russell Terrier. More short and long than tall and stout{sp?}. She was amazing. I read up on the breed a ton before I went out and bought her from a small breeding facility. Got her for 100 dollars and also bought one for my sister too. She wasn't too hyper, she would be hyper around someone for about 5 minutes then get all tired. lol. So anywayz. I never had any problems with her till she was about 1.6years old. She started having troubles breathing and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I took her to the vet about it three times and she wouldn't never have problems with her breathing till we got out of the office. Well finally when we went to the vet again the vet was patient and she finally showed her problems. They said she had a backward sneeze which is quite common in smaller dogs apparently. It has to do with one of their pallettes in their mouth. The vet said it could be corrected surgically but only if it got worse, otherwise they can live with it their whole lives without having issues with it. It only happens when they get really excited. It is freaky, like she stopped breathing for a short time and was why it freaked me out so much but yeah.

Piccies. ^_^

This one looks wierd because I was trying to get her to stand still so I held her face and tail stub. xD

Blurred I know. She moved just as we took the pic.

She was about 6 months old inthe piccies. It was hard to get her to stand still because there was a 3 year old in the bg and she wanted to play with him. lol.
She's adorable. "Pricked ears", I see?
I'm no longer getting a Jackie D; There are no breeders around or any in the pound.
So, I'll just adopt a pound puppy instead. ;D xDD
Yeah she had the prick ears. She was amazing before I had to rehome her last year. I miss the crap out of her. She was so into my emotions. Everytime i was upset she would be right there and everywhere I went she went. And also she would only listen to me. lol.

No in your pound or anything? O.o Thats wierd. Usually there are a lot of jacks in the pound since people adopt them then get rid of them when they realize how much work they take.

Aww, I'm sorry. I am looking for a dog just like that. Only mine, follows me around, gets sad when I leave. My current dogs aren't like that. Max is like that with my mom, but only her. And Molly is only like that with my grandpa. D; So I want one to love ME. xDD
Nope. None. xD But, I live in a small town with only two small local shelters. And there's no Jackie breeders 'round here unfortunately. ;_;
xDD. That would take years anywayz. I was just joking of course. :P

-pats Ludie-

You are so mean. >_< I was so set on breeding aussies... Till you started talking about jacks. I want them now! xD

MUAHAHAHA  Evil, aren't I? xDD

I ish sorry. ;D I didn't mean to make you confused. xD
Thats alright. lol. I have been going back and forth since I have wanted to do this which has been about 7 years. lol. And I thought I had finaly decided since I haven't changed my mind in 2 years. xD But apparently I was wrong. >_< Now I want to do jacks again. lol.
There are about four JRT's at our local Police Stations animal shelter, around 50 at the various shelters around here. I wish You lived closer, you'd be set.

O_O I'd be better than set. I'd be able choose the perfect Jack. I wish I lived closer, too. D;

Ludie cant get Gatorade! oh my....

i thought Coco was cuter anyway..she like a Red ball of fluff..(i luffles fluff)

*coco is the name of my pit bull/lab mix
No Gatorade xD Nope, nope.
Yeah, Coco is cuter, but she's not my dog. I didn't really click with her. Sure, she was a good dog, but... better for someone else. Not destined for me. ;D

We're going to phone another shelter and hopefully go there Saturday and check out the dogs. Maybe destiny dog will be there. :]

I want to get the perfect dog. ;P
oh, so you went to the shelter already?

she didnt work out huh....thats sucks

She was fine, just not extraordinary. Like, I would adopt her, but she's just... you know when you have that feeling in your gut like, "Oh my God. Alright, that's my dog." Well, I didn't get that with her. D; Which is too bad. But, she was a cutie. Good energy level. No food aggression. Good with other dogs, but a little snappy with little females. Good with cats, but may chase them.

So. Yeah. But, we're going to the shelter 45 mins. away from here. I'm sure they'll have dogs- they always do. Maybe I'll meet the dog I want there! ;D
xD I'll do that eventually. I just don't know what I want on my next siggy right now. ;D

Yeah, fate. Whatever. xDD I'll know the dog when I meet it, lmfao.
Update; I did a lot of thinking about Coco, as my mom and the shelter wished me to. While I was there to see her, I had asked many questions about barking, food aggression, regular aggression to dogs/cats/people, asked if she pulled on the leash, asked if she liked to play, asked if she was friendly, asked how shy she was, etc. All the important stuff I need to know. She's shy to people when she first meets them, hence why she didn't take too much interest in me right away. I understand that. She's only been at the shelter since July. 11th when she was found in our mall parking lot, running loose without anyone around. No one claimed her so they put her up for adoption. I didn't get to take her for a walk as the shelter was closing, but she had just gone for a walk about 5 minutes before we'd arrived, too.

Mom's worried about barking. We already have Max, our three-year-old Kelpie/Sheltie, and he likes to bark a lot. Lately it hasn't been anything bad. But since my dad is a real quiet person who hates dogs that bark, she's worried we'll get Coco, she'll be shy and bark at strangers/vehicles/dogs, and we'll have the same problem.

I'm trying to explain to her that no dog comes with a garauntee that it won't bark. It's in their nature. They'll do it when they feel it's necessary, whether it's necessary to us or not. When we got Max, he was quiet. We thought he'd be a quiet dog. Then one year he just barked and barked and barked. Well, he's better now.

Another thing my mom said is Coco jumped up on people too much and liked to pull on the leash. Well, that's only because the people at the shelter LET her. D; It's a bad habit that would be easy to break at our house - and she believes that. But she's still unsure.

I know I said I didn't think I had a connection with Coco, but she needs a second chance. I want to meet with her again before I decide to write her off my list. As far as I've been told, she's a very good dog other than she needs a few more manners. ;D

Today I asked if we could see her again. The soonest I can see her is probably Monday or Tuesday (oh my, that is a long time for me to wait xD). And my mom's thinking about adopting. Once I meet her again, I will be able to tell whether or not I want to adopt her for sure. I've already thought of some good names for her. xDD Meeka or Daisy. I like Meeka because it's different(ish), but then I'd have Molly, Max, and Meeka if I adopted her. xP But, Daisy might not suit her.

Well, whatever. I just want to see her again.

Hope the best for Coco! ;D
