Anyone have a dog that...

...barks at the tv?!<br><br>My Kelpie/Sheltie cross does. And you always have to stop, shush him, then get back to your movie. xD Lmfao. One of his bad qualities. He will listen if you discipline him (properly) to stop growling at Scooby Doo. Lol. Yes, he even barks at cartoon and computerized animals. But when he sees dogs, he really starts growling (even barking if no one's around watching the tv). Now he thinks that "Shh, be nice" means "shut up and look away."<br><br>x.x So now, instead of him learning to be nice to other dogs when he sees them, he's learned to look away from the tv. D: In real situations, he barks and growls at dogs when he first sees them - not good! I'm trying to get him out of that by watching dogs on tv and trying to make him stop growling. But, he only looks away and stops growling. He is getting better in real situations, but he could improve.<br><br>Any ideas on how to get him to keep watching tv but just stop growling? xD

    Haha my Jack Russel watches tv all the time! Every time an animal or even a fuzzy cartoon comes in tv she runs at the tv barking at it and jumping up at it. Haha and on one of the tvs, the buttons are at the bottom of it, and she accidently presses the power button sometimes xD

    THe amazing thing about my dog is, when a song comes on my tv, she barks along with it.<br>I mean, right to the beat.<br>It's only on my TV though, not my radio.<br>It's amazing/ weird.

    Because we used to have a little TV and one day we set it on the ground for my little cousins, and then he slammed into it and tried to attack the dogs on the TV o.o like literally screaming/yowling/growling o-o; yeah, he's a nutcase.
    i know you're supposed to cherish life , but this crap isn't paradise .

    my dogs dont... but my CAT does... she hears dogs or cats even making noise on the tv she'll get on the arm of our cat and just start growling.. it trips me out XD.. and if u get a flashlight she starts yawling at the lighted spot.. like she's mezmerized

Mine sits on top of the couch and bats the back of my head if I move when I'm watching TV x3 Then my dog growls and she swats him in the back of the head when he's sitting upright next to me, too. xD We disturb her sleep. My cats have never been interested in flashlights. P: I tried it with them, but they lost interest very quickly after trying to attack the floor where it was a few times. Then they knew it wasn't really anything, so they went back to being lazy fatso's in "their" chairs. D:
