...or does this dog look a LOT like a lab?<br><img src="http://www.putastop.com/web_images/akbash2.jpg"; alt="http://www.putastop.com/web_images/akbash2.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br>They tend to be a little taller than the lab, but other than that, and the color, I could easily get it mixed up.<br><br>Anyone else?

    It does at a quick glance, but I could tell the difference because I've seen both breeds before in rl. They have more fluff to their fur instead of that sleek waterproof coat that the Lab has. And their build is less..stocky. :wink:

    Agreed. <br>But, I've only seen a lab in rl, never an Akbash.<br>In a picture, very similar.

    -nods- yes, they're rather soft..atleast the one I felt was. -shrugs- I would get one of those opposed to a Lab, just because it wouldn't look as..something. I can't find the word I'm looking for. xD

    I could tell the difference cause i own a lab in rl, and it is easy to tell.<br>And well with a friend on here doing Akbash dogs before so haha.

    To me, the neck and legs look to long.<br>Not to mention the tail. Lol.<br>Yes, and the Akbash is not as stocky.<br>I think they've got a more graceful, slender look than the Lab.<br><br>If I saw one in real life, I'm pretty sure I'd have to take a second look after my first glance to tell, but they're different once you take a good look. ;)
