  <span style="color:purple"><span style="font-size:75">Can't you add borders on GIMP? =O<br>With mine (might have a diff. version than you),<br>I go to "Filters" then "Decor" and then "Add border...".<br>Then I set the border thickness to 1 for both X and Y.<br>But the border adds 2 pixels to <span style="text-decoration:underline">both</span> the height and width.<br>Making your 400x150 banner a 402x152 banner.<br>So just make sure you make the banner is 398x148 instead if you're adding a border. =P<br>Wah-lah! A bordered banner that looks much neater.<br><br>But, on the other hand, you've improved a lot, Tiff!<br>I am so proud! =D</span></span>

  It doesnt let me do it that way.<br>but i was just messing around with gimp.<br><br>and if you use the rectangle select all tool. and you then select the whole banner. You can add a border using the add a border button the select button on the tool bar at the top :P

  <br><br><span style="color:purple"><span style="font-size:75">I know =P I only use that for small squares ON the banner (example; my siggy where it says 'Life').<br>It's easier (for me) to do it the way I explained so I don't mess up as easily. xD</span></span>

  <span style="font-size:75">That last one is AMAZING!<br>You can see miles of improvement.<br>:]<br>The only thing I would say..<br>Try making things look softer...<br>Blending and such..?<br>And when you're choosing colors, it might help to use the eyedropper..<br>That way the colors really match and the banner looks cohesive.<br>But that last one...<br>o.o<br>-dies-<br>it's incredible!!</span>
