She isn't big and fluffy like I thought but I still love her. She has the most gentle and soft chocolate eyes I ever saw in a dog! Whenever she sees me her tail wags and she greets me with a 'WOO! WOO!' and I can only smile and woo woo back to her!

I only had her for a day by now and I can already feel the bond between us grow

! She only licks me and listens to me (I think that's good so far XD). She -loves- cuddling and swimming with me. She slept in the reeds up at the lake (I have a photo on my cellphone but I couldn't upload it sadly). She just learned her new name and to walk properly on the leash, though she tends to tangle me with it lol <333. I am trying to make her learn "Jump" so she could jump on my bed and in the van, and make her learn sit.

She is doing good so far! She whined when she had to go to the bathroom too. It feels like forever since I've been waiting for this moment...and it's finally here, I got a dog, a malamute....A dog I wanted since I was 9. I am glad my mom finally got her for me. <333

Aww =D Her eyes are beautiful

Can see them better than on that little screen xD lol. She's beautiful colored too. And, she will get fluffy :P After the weird puppy stage and all. Congrats, and good luck =D You will have to continue telling me lots of stories xD Im surprised she's already swimming and stuff. Didnt really think of Malamutes as the swimming type o.o (then again, I dont know much about Malamutes xD)

Thank-you! I personally think she is plain adorable, even if she doesn't have that beautiful fluffy look I was hoping for. She is a nice greyish color too

! We bought her for $250 (A steal for malamutes). Right now she is sleeping on the bed and is looking plain adorable! When she gets big we're going to have to fight over the bed!

Haha thanks for not stealing her or I'd have to hurt you in the most painful way possibly >_>....Jk.....maybe. Well she has gotten use to the house and is learning her boundaries already!

Our Bulldog Sally has stopped trying to beat her up -almost- xD. She also got use to riding in the van with me

. We went swimming some more. FUNNY STORY TIME! We were running on the dock, Bruma and I, and then I abruptly stopped because my friend was calling out to me. Then...Bruma didn't see me stop and tried to run pass me BUT.... She ended up running into my leg and someone how went SAILING into the water. I was like o_o; My friend started laughing her butt off. Bruma came back up, snorting water out of her nose and then my mind finally processed what happened and I was like BRUMA!

*dives* Funny thing is.. I don't know how to dive so I don't know how good I looked on that part XD. BUT we all turned out fine and Bruma still -loves- the water. I luff herr!â™¥ She's gorgeous..and I LOVE her eyes. but, the breed makes me wonder..almost 100% of Alaskan Pups I see at 5-10 weeks are even fluffy then <.< you sure she isn't a mix or a husky?

She is full bred. I believe. Some malamutes aren't that fluffy, I think. I found a breeder that has similar malamutes that don't start off too fluffy. *shrugs* I hope she is full bred though I don't really care much.

Honestly, yours is the only Mal I've ever seen that looks like that. <a href="http://i212.photobucket.com/albums/cc40/Sea-Oats/Pets/Talos.png"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Talos</a> is 3/4 Mal, 1/4 Husky and he's not huge and fluffy.. he's just huge. >.> So are you sure -YOURS- isn't a mix?

There are many acceptable forms of Malamutes, not all of them are going to look exactly alike and not all of them will be the same size and not all of them will have as much fur as others. LEECH SHE'S GORGEOUS AND I'M JEALOUS! <33

*Steals puppeh* (now that I'm done with that) You both realize that it is SUMMER right? Spitz like breeds are normally not as poofy in the summer. I know because I have two spitz breeds (wolf hybrid, and hookiado inu) and in the summer the coat is thinner and just not very fluffy. Even the hybrid's 100% AKC husky mom was the same. Also not all mallys have long coats. There is a woolly strain which may be the mental image you are thinking of. Just imagine the musher having to stop every few moments to pull snow out of the fur because it got clumped in, or worse the dog line.
