I'm not really an active player, so it doesn't really apply to a lot of you, but I'm leaving VP again - this time it's for good. Last time I left, it was for good, until I found myself bored and Aziu was willing to let me on her kennel. But this time, I don't think I could ever come back unless I can make some serious changes in my life. My grandpa died a few hours ago from what looks like a heart attack. He was talking to his neighbors when he suddenly said "Oh.." (and another word) and then passed out. I really believe that he knew he was going to die. That's the most chilling part of it all. If he knew he was going to die, what did he think of? Our entire bloodline is full of health problems, especially heart conditions. He also had diabetes, which does run in our family. He wasn't really an old man, nor a very inactive person. He was a very skilled hunter, fisher, etc. and loved being outside. He has a 5 acre property that the state of California will now steal - simply because my grandpa didn't have a will. I've been told that there is no legal way to fight for the ownership of the house - that the state will just take it away without even considering the proof we have. (He had his 401k divided up so that when he died, my mom and my uncle would each get half.) But he still died of a heart attack. I know nobody can live forever, and I've known people who have died before, but this is just feels so unreal. It's terrifying to know that no matter how well you eat or how well you take care of yourself, hereditary problems can/will come through. I never got the chance to really get to know him. Truthfully, I disliked the way he did certain things, but I never wanted him to die. I haven't seen him in over 4 years. Before that, I can only think of maybe 3-5 times that I'd ever really met him. It's hard to believe that just a few hours ago, my younger brother and I were just happily watching TV and everything was okay. It's also hard to believe that just a few days ago, I was telling my mom that I wanted my horse now. (She promised me that when my grandpa died, she'd buy me a horse. Not like a mean thing, but it's just cause he has/had so much money and I've always wanted one). I didn't really mean now. I'd trade everything in the world as long as it'd make him come back so my mom would be happy. I have to leave VP though, and pretty much give up my internet life for now. My mom hurts so badly and I can't do anything to help her. My dad refuses to pay the $1200 for me and my younger brother to go, because it "costs too much". This is the same man who doesn't talk to his family, doesn't like my mom's side of the family, and who values his guitars more than humans. Nice to know that I/my brother can't even be at the funeral for my own grandpa because my dad doesn't want to dip into his savings. He has $20k+ in a bank acct, but $600 a ticket is too much? I was thinking I could just drive out there - take my mom's car and just drive, but I don't know if I could make it across the entire US in any reasonable amt of time. We couldn't get a hotel, so we'd sleep at rest stops. We'd have to get there in 2-3 days, so I'd be driving 12+ hours a day just to get there. It's just too expensive. $400 just for gas for 1 way. I'm a petsitter/dog walker with one client who recently laid me off. I have maybe $60 in savings, have $400 in my mom's bank acct (for our food and whatnot), and that's pretty much it. My brother is a programmer, but he only gets paid after the job is done. He still has a little more work to do 'til he gets paid. Add in the cost of a petsitter and it's just rediculous.. I can't even believe this is really happening. To hear someone you know is dead.. It's just so hard to believe. If you respond about the above, please don't mention anything religious.. Just, yeah. Please don't. I don't think anybody would, but I just want to say it as a precaution. ... If you want something... If you want something, please post link(s) or how much VPC you want. If they're certain dogs (APBT imports, Cayden, or Mini Eskie), tell me why you should get them. If they're show dogs, you have to somehow prove that you're an active eventer. If you beg or get upset because I didn't give it to you, I don't see you as a decent human being. Not that my view should really matter to you, but considering I have more respect for my lazy bum of an uncle, it's a pretty low status.

Can you send a contract to AnastasiaT for negative 2 mil? I'll accept it as soon as possible. And thank you. I've never known anyone to die of a heart attack. It's always been an accident, cancer, or old age. Heart attack is just so sudden and it feels just more unrealistic than anything else. (I'm sorry for your loss as well.)

Hardcoremagic - Nobody really needs something on VP. You may place bids of 0 on the two dogs that you wanted. Mondy - Bid on the dog when you get the chance and can you send a contract for negative 2 mil to AnastasiaT? Would you maybe want the first Dingo on the list as well? If you're into showing, I think that dog is probably your best bet out of all of them. I could train it for you, up to 15 years. I have to stay up all night and be up early anyway, so I really wouldn't mind. (And I need to stick around long enough to get rid of all the dogs.) Tiffer - If you find anything you want, just let me know. ^^ Dreamland - I still remember the dye, and what it was for. I never expected you to repay me, never once.

I am so sorry about your grandpa. My grandpa died when I was only two or three, so I never really got to know him. Even if he's gone, you can still hold him close to your heart. Try to remember that he's not suffering. Maybe there's someway your mom could help you figure out a way to go to the funeral. I don't really know you, but I will miss having you around VP. Good luck, on everything, just in life in general. I hope you get your horse sometime soon, and have fun with it. If there's none left, it's fine, but I definatly could use some VPC, so 1 or 2 mil would be nice. Once again, so sorry about your loss, and I'll miss you.

I'm not going to ask for any money or dogs, but I just wanted to say I'm deeply sorry that this happened. I truly hope that all things will work out and all pieces of the puzzle will come together. I know life isn't always easy, and I wish it was, but then love and happiness wouldn't mean anything. Death is really weird and scary to think about but it is a part that we all will go through. I'm not trying to be dramatic or deep or anything, but I've had to face it a lot and (out of everything ever, I hope I'm not hardening toward it) I know how tough it is, even if you don't know the person extremely well. I just had a guy from my grad class of 08 get hit by a train, while he was walking over the tracks. He was coming home from a party and he was drinking and listening to his mp3 player.. I have no idea how it happened, all I know is he was dead instantly. It's odd to think that life is so precious it can be taken away in seconds. People can be jerks but people are just people. I'm sorry Ana! I hope life turns out and that you will go far, far, far.

On a side note, I'd be more than happy to take the APBTs off of your hands. I'm on a mission to produce high strenght (possibly 10x4 at one point) APBTs. I've already got several imports and I'd welcome more if you don't mind. And, if you are okay with it, maybe a couple mill to help with training those dogs? I am so sorry ana, I know how hard it is to lose a family member I lost my grandpa a year ago he had some major health issues though and was starting to suffer. I don't really fell like asking for anything but is it a possibility if I could get 1 mill or so I just started a new line.
