my new show chicken and layers

    @vampy: ohh i know, i sorta have a problem of naming everything even if im not keeping it... i have had TONS of chickens in the past, so i know all about the they may die ect... but hopefully they wont -crosses fingers-<br><br>@mondehh:hehe they can be yours and live w/ me XD

    I love chickens!!! I had quite a few show birds when I lived in the country. But, last winter when I moved to town, we had to rehome most of our farm animals. My birds now live with my friend (who I originally got them from). They are still show birds and my original pair is now grandparents!!! <br><br>I can't wait to move back out of town so I can have my birds again. I miss them so much.

    For me, baby chicken=cute! Adult chicken=scary. That's just me. Chickens peck your eyes out. Or so I've heard. :? <br><br>(But they are cute!) :D

    i have one evil rooster but other than that all the chickens i own/have owned are really sweet but i thinks its because i was like always playing w/ them when they were little so they got use to people. i have one that i sware thinks its a dog lol.

    Chickens are so easy to tame down. I've been around them for so long I just don't understand how people are afraid of harmless little birds. :lol: Although, many roosters can be aggressive around food and girls. In all the time that I had them, I only had one mean rooster. I raised him from a chick. He was a tiny Sebright. When he got older, he got super mean around his food and girls. He eventually went to a single male home and had 20 girlies to himself. lol <br><br><br><br>Hey, sorry for hijacking your thread with my stories. It just brings back memories of my little birdies. I miss them so much.
