• Oh... i know how you feel.. we had an old dog named Pete.. Big Footed Pete and he was the sweetest dog.. he beat up a chow to protect me once.. he got in SO many fights and always won.. and he has been shot and run over numerous times. I would ride him like a horse and he even tried to protect me from my horse when i first got him <3 Petey was the best dog. But it was getting painful to watch him.. he hacked ALL the time.. had arthritis.. couldnt eat.. and he finally died in his sleep last year.. at the ripe old age of 13

 • awww. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels. My dads dog died a year after my father passed. That dog meant a ton to me since we both lost someone we loved so much and we had been able to morn together. He died at 15 years of age. It killed me and I couldn't stop crying when it happened. And it killed me that I had not been there the moment he had died because he had meant so much to me. I felt like I hadn't done enough to make him as happy as could be before he passed.

 • Aw. He looked like a fluffy cuddly cloud.
Poor thing. D;
Sorry about your loss.
I remeber my dad took my best friend [lab/ridgeback/pitbull mix] to the pund and didn't even tell me, because she had attacked another dog.
So, when I got home I came to an empty house.
She wasn't animal friendly but, she prtected us and was the only thing I had. :x
 • this reminds me of our two labs that I lost last year, the female Angelle grew up with me my entire life, and the Male Cory came a few years later but he was by big boy and we adored each other but they both passed last year. We had to put them down cause both of them ended up like Maverick. I am sry to hear your loss though Mucky. We never wish for them to go but it has to happen sooner or later. :cry:
