My Cat Had Kittens (again)

Ok, so my cat once again had kittens.
She has at least 2 litters every year.
Every time we go to get her fixed, she ends up pregnant and they are unable to fix her.
These have to be the cutest litter she's had so far.

Before we get to the pictures, I'd like to tell about my cat.

We found her on the side of the road about 3 years ago.
She was almost dead, skinny enough to see her bones, blisters everywhere from the sun, and scars and cuts and scrapes.
When we first brought her home, she walked like a crab, sideways, and couldn't even eat a whole can of cat food.
Within a week or two of working with her and caring for her, she looked healthy and ate more, and was walking right.
We named her Lucky, since she was lucky we found her.
About 3 months after having her, she ended up pregnant.
Since then, at least two litters each year she is having. :!: :!: :!:

Pictures
Now here's my favorite part, the PICTURES!!!!

<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10701.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Lucky
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10705.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Kittens (Socks and Griffon)
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10706.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Lucky
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10708.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Lucky
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10709.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Shoes
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10710.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Me and Griffon( I'm keeping Griffon)
<a href="http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee291/bc_borders/Animals/SDC10711.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Lucky Eating

(Posted links for the hugeness)

I love these things to death. • We try, but she jumps through the screens in our windows. My little brother also lets her out all the time.

 • They're really cute and so tiny!

What happens to the rest of these kittens? There are a lot of low-cost spay/neuter places that will fix your cat. They'll even fix her if she's pregnant and in your case that would probably be best.

Please talk to your parents about getting your cat fixed. I hate seeing cats have kittens because I have to spend my hard earned money getting them fixed when the owners dump them! It's not fair to those cats to live that way. It's extremely hard on an animal to have litter after litter. JUst ONE litter can kill an animal. There are also a lot of diseases that are spread by cats through mating and some of them YOU can get. :(

 • i agree with eagles if she does keep having litter after litter it is very irrisponseble (i dont know if i spelt that right) and you cat could have problems giving birth which could kill her please get her fixed, as it is very cruel
 • We have been trying. They won't fix her because she is always pregnant.
I don't know what to do.

 • Lovely cats but I have to agree with everyone else here. There is too much of a pet overpopulation to let your pet have babies.

I'd go to a different vet if they will not do a spay/abort while she's pregnant. Many responsible veterinarians will abort kittens and puppies because they realize the overpopulation.

Like I said, adorable kittens. Griffon is very unique looking. :)
 • We tried my vet, the SPCA, and like 3 others, but no one will fix her.

 • The SPCA won't fix her? ... Every animal shelter/rescue I've ever gone to will abort litters as long as they aren't over a certain stage in their pregnancy.

Try here: <a href="http://neuterspay.org/"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://neuterspay.org/

I get my feral cats fixed at a place called First Coast No More Homeless Pets and RCCAH. It's only $30-$60. If you're in Florida then you could probably use the same people. They're really good.. Good luck with getting your parents to get your cat fixed! I hope the babies go to good homes. :D
