Well, my mom was talking to me about how when she was in grade 8 or whatever grade she was in (xD) there would be a day where all of the grades 8s would be owned by a grade 9/10 and they'd have to do whatever their owner told them to do. Apparently she hated it because they made them do stupid/silly stuff and were downright immature, but she said it was still fun if you got the right owner.

So... since the VP Olympics are going to be held this summer, I was thinking of having something similar to that here on VP to raise money for it. Instead of just being able to pick who you own or who owns you, some players can volunteer to be owned and then whoever wants to own them bids.

If you're not getting it, I will use some of my friend's playernames for an example. xD

Up for Auction TODAY (May. 27th):
Dreamland (does layouts, graphics, training, etc.)

Bidders on Dreamland:
lovefrompaige - 5000000 (XD) mill.

One player per day would be auctioned to their highest bidder.
Each person being auctioned would have to be willing to be bought by whoever and would do it for free because they're helping raise money for the VP Olympics.
Each bidder would have to be fair and not overwork their player... let's face it, we do have real lives away from VP and can't do too much for you rich bidders! xD
AND if you're up for auction and do services for the person who bought you, etc., the player who owns you would not have to pay for your layout/banner/training that you make/do for them because them bidding the amount they did on you is the pay. So technically, you'll be doing favors for people for free but money will be going to the VP Olympics. (Still unsure if this would be fair or if, let's say, at least 25%-50% of the bidded money would go to the player that was auctioned...)

Now, I'm still deciding on HOW LONG each bidder would get to keep the player they bought and what rules/regulations might help to make the contest/auction have a boundary that limits everything. I'm pretty sure that if you bought someone, a good rule would be to only be able to make them do 3-5 things...

If this isn't a good idea, please say so. And I wasn't sure whether or not to put this in the 'Game Suggestion' section because it's not really a game suggestion, just my own fundraising idea for the VP Olympics. Go ahead and move it if you need to, Ops :]

Please comment, give critic, your opinion, and more. Do not bash me. And please, FEEL VERY FREE to give suggestions to help make this auction better and more realistic to the game!
