Har, har...really?

Okay...well I portrayed this little event in one of my posts in the Virtual Pups RPG...and I figured I shall share with everyone else.

Okay, my friends and I planned a movie night. We were going to go see Obsessed and to pass the time, we went to the mall.
Well, that night...the mall closed at 9 and we got there around 8:55. So we had five minutes to run around and do whatever.

So we ran into the mall...and we are running down the isles and such - visiting the different stores, like Victoria's Secret, Delia's, Hot Topic, Wet Seal, et cetera. It's about 9 and the person over the intercom is saying that the mall is closed...blah blah. And...well my friends and I were hyper at this point and we didn't exactly leave right away because we were sort of..."shopping" and so a mall cop escorted us out. He was a jolly fellow.

Anywho, we searched for the car...which was quite hard to find because there was a fair right outside the mall and there were a lot of people there. We eventually found it...and as we backed up, we hit the back of a hummer. We started freaking out...I mean come on...a hummer. Of all cars...it was a hummer. The owner of the hummer walked to his car...and we told him what had happened and he just brushed it off. He was like "no problem" and let us go. I really don't know why....he was just all good about it. o.O

Okay, so before we went to the theater we had to drive back home to pick up a friend...cause she was going to go with us too. Well, first, I should tell you that we are in a city...obviously. And it's a quite large city.

We are driving back home...and I'm sitting in the back. My friend Heather is driving and my other friend Alicia is in the passenger seat. Heather is pressing on the gas...and there is no pressure. But she's not saying anything because she didn't want Alicia or me to freak out. The car starts slowing down, and I’m thinking "okay, it's slowing. That's normal. There must be stop lights somewhere or something." but there wasn't. Heather eventually speaks and she's like "guys, my car -just- ran out of gas. Seriously...I’m pressing on the gas and it's not going."

so the car is slowly moving along a busy road in the middle of the city. Alicia tells heather to pull over, and the car...ironically stops next to a sign that says "do not park on this side of the road". I found it quite hilarious.

Heather calls her boyfriend and asks him what to do. He doesn't really tell us anything…he just says that she was "dumb" for not filling the car. ha ha.

we look behind us, to see how many cars are there...and there's a lot. it was a two lane, one-way road and cars were coming towards us. there was this one car that was behind us and they switched lanes at like...the last minute and there was a car behind them and they were going to zoom forward as soon as the other car switched lanes. well they didn't know we were there so they almost hit us. I started freaking out after that and I’m in the back...pushing on the seat saying "get me out, get me out of here!" and so Alicia lets me out and I’m standing on the side of the road. Heather gets out of the car and Alicia gets out of the car. Heather was like "guys, we're going to have to push"

heather grabs the back of the car and Alicia grabs the back of the car and they start pushing and I’m just walking along with them. well, Alicia is a realllyyy small girl and so I’m like "Alicia, get in the car and steer while I help push" and so she does.

I tell heather to run, and so we run...and Alicia is steering the car to make sure we don't swerve into anything. it starts raining as we are doing this...which makes me quite mad.
no one stopped to see if we needed help. no one even slowed down.

well, we push the car for about five more minutes and we run into this group of guys walking on the sidewalk. they run over towards us and ask if we need help and we tell them yes. so the six guys grab the car, heather and I let go, and they all run down the road. and now the car is booking it. it's flying down the road. and remember, we are still in the middle of the city...and there are plenty of cars behind us.

we are coming up to the stop lights and one of the guys tells Alicia to switch lanes and she's yelling and freaking out because she's scared she was going to get hit.

she switches lanes and stop at the stop light...and take a left, crossing oncoming traffic.

we eventually make it to a gas station and fill the car up and make it home safely...missing the movie due to time being delayed.

the gist of this vent is...I repel vehicles. Although I love the way the look and everything, I hate driving. I hate it. It scares me. It always has.

 • wow. I have to tell you I dislike cars too.
 • No way! I'm sorry but that's almost humorous at the end of the day. I know what you mean about repelling things. I repel electronics. I love my electronics, but sad;y, they don't love me. O.o They grow legs and run screaming. :P
