6 people at my future Middle School has been confermed[sp] with Swine Flu. 400 kids are out of school with symptoms. My friend Sydney has symptoms. I have friends at school with syblings which go to Mendive. It is spreading like frikin wildfire. Why. Why Nevada.

Confirmed And I believe the h1n1 is blown way out of proportion. More people died from the regular flu. You can't tell the difference between the two unless you go get tested specifically for that. People need to give it a rest. It's only because it's new. I am pretty sure they have a vaccine. Really, it doesn't seem like a big deal. I'm going to New York over the summer and they have quite a few cases. So I may get a vaccine and just go. I'm not worried. I already had the stomach flu this year and vomitted 12 times. I dont think h1n1 is going to be any worse. Its the people with bad immune systems that can't get over it.

Last i heard it reacts to Tamiflu and other Antivirals as well. I keep thinking i wish someone would get it here so we can get out of school for a week and get out of that stinkin english term theme (uugh) the stinkin CDC had to declare that there was no need to shut down schools *pouts*

I was definitely scared at first about the H1N1. Buuut, now that it's confirmed it's hardly different from a regular, annoying flu, I've given it a rest. I was washing my hands so much that they were going to shrivel up and die. o.o Now, not AS much, but enough to keep myself from getting a flu even if someone does have it. xD

seriously? I hate hearing about the stupid pig flu, i could care less! i saw people the other day wearing nurse mask. XD and you know what i did? i started coughing dramatically. that always gets them. just recently a airplane piolit landed a plane, and made one woman get off the plane, and go to the ER just because she had a runny nose and a cough. pathetic.

I read at the doctors office that the swine flu has happened before and more people died more from the VACCINE than the actual disease.

The normal flu freaks me out. xD That's just because I got it when I was in fourth grade and then I got something else that sent me to the ER. *paranoid* But honestly, I think people are just.. well, like Tarn said. If people have little kids, younger kids, then just like with cold season they should take extra care. Everyone else has blown it out of proportion.

i wish people would give it a rest XD and the masks dont even work :roll: practically no-one has died outside mexico, and most that have died in the US have crossed the border. 95% of people who died lived in slums. i hope my school doesnt close down here in the UK, because i have important exams in 1 week, and after that we have a leavers program, eg. a watersports holiday in southern france, ect

To be honest, the swine flu is basically just like the actual flu. People die from the basic flu all the time, but most people get out of it because of antibiotics and health care. The media is making it sound like it's the next black plague. The kind of people that eat nothing but junk food and candy are probably the ones with less of a chance of getting out of the swine flu alive. Because we all know about the flu-flu, a new type of flu with no cure just scares us. Not all people who had the swine flu are dead. It depends on the person and his/her immune system. Just be sure to stock up on lots of colorful vegetables and multivitamin supplements. You won't get it.
