Help!?!?

I have 2 rabbits that live outside. It's really hot out today, so we went to give them fresh cold water. There hutch is in the shade, but they still look really hot. I put it a water bottle in the freezer, but it'll take a while to freeze.... Also, we can't take them inside because we have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and nothing to put the rabbits in. Any advice?

Rabbits shouldn't be outside in hot weather. and this is my personal opinion, but, honestly. if you are going to put them out in hot weather, which is making them suffer.. even if you are doing everything, animals shouldn't suffer. put them in a cool room, and close the door. Away from the other animals.

Yes, I want to put them inside, but alls I have is a small pet carrier (they won't both fit in it) and the hutch is way to heavy to move.

You could always make a makeshift playpin for them in a room and put newspaper down.

Keep in mind while it could be cooling down for you, it's probably still hot for them. There's no way to close of your bedroom for instance just until night when it's cooler?

She's already said they're in the shade. o.0 How hot is it there? I'd say just try your best to set something up inside, just have a littlebox in here as well, if they don't use one you can easily train it to get used to it for the summer while it's hot, and then there won't be soo much of a mess to clean up. Are all your rooms carpeted? That would make it harder, but I would maybe just lay down some newspaper for them, and maybe sure they have something to eat like hay so they won't be eating the newspaper, and if they do nibble on it a bit I wouldn't worry about it. And if you have hardwood flooring, then you can just sweep/wipe up whatever mess there is after.

I probably could, but the main problem is they fight when they're together (we had to put a divider in their hutch) and I don't know how I could keep them away from eachother-and make sure they didn't hide under the bed.

Oh, I have the same problem with my rabbits too. Maybe just build a barricade out of some stuff? until you have time to maybe get something, you don't need anything fancy. xD And to stop them from going under the bed just maybe block it with something? I don't know, you may need to get creative. XD How warm is it outside?

It's in the mid-seventies here. They have little houses in their hutch that can provide more shade, and there's a breeze blowing. I think I heard somewhere putting a wet towel over their hutch could help?

I don't see that would help much. xD Personally, I don't think that's too hot. As long as they have cool water and don't see to be uncomfortable, I'd say they're fine. I'll ask Boz when I see her next though, since she's the rabbit expert. xD
